Kind and precise. We had a very good lunch at a fair price even if we arrived at the tavern a little late (around 2 in the afternoon)

Great little find off the beaten path. multiple food choices from the meat plates to more typical hearty fare. Suck friendly service and a nice quiet atmosphere. Frequented by locals on the several times we have visited.

Recommended Wide choice of meatballs to try. Recommended Even just to tease and drink a good glass of wine. As a good Veronese, I would have preferred to drink a wine from the Spada cellar but it wasn't there, too bad. Placed at the table both entirely AND externally

Aperitif with friends, excellent location, food and good wine. Esmeralda who served us during a chaotic time was very kind and attentive, good.

Trust me, order the horse meat stew and meat balls. The staff were amazing. Mostly locals here as it is a bit out of the way.

22/08/2024: Nice, simple and welcoming environment, very good food and the nice thing is the fact that the owner explains every little detail about the ingredients well. Everything we got was all good. 4 dishes all different, no negative notes. I REALLY RECOMMEND. Average price I would say is right for what we ate.
17/08/2024: Welcome with a smile and friendliness, typical dishes made with quality raw materials and a lot of passion. If you pass by S. Giovanni, stop for lunch!

12/11/2024: Pleasant Veronese trattoria, with typical dishes served with kindness in a traditional atmosphere.
29/09/2024: Rustic place in Borgo Milano. We were greeted by a friendly waitress then at lunch. About forty seats in total and about twenty customers. Simple appetizer: pancetta and two (number) croutons. Pasta and beans (pasta not received) with smoked stracciatella... failed! Continued with beef stew and three pieces of fried porcini mushrooms. The stew was of good quality while the frying was too oily... sorry because the mushrooms (mushroom) were fresh. My wife had a medium rare rib eye. The meat was honestly tough. Given the cost, he finished it anyway... a tiramisu for two (good dessert). In conclusion: the intimacy of the location is not bad but the menu needs to be reviewed. Kind staff. Price a little high for what it offers. Between us we spent ninety euros....
