Characteristic place in the real historical Verona, we ate stew with polenta, grilled vegetables, beef tartare and ripasso wine. Everything was very good. Compliments. Worth a stop

A real osteria! near the b&b where we stayed.. Much better than those in the center.. normal prices, good simple food and friendly staff in a nice courtyard! Compliments from a Venetian (if only there were some like this in Venice) compliments 👍🏻

Lovely, authentic local osteria with a nice drinks selection. We only had drinks and enjoyed the ambiance.

Cannot recommend Osteria a la Carega enough! We returned 3 times over our stay in Verona. The service we received from the waitress from Canada was amazing she made us feel so welcomed! Food and drinks were delicious and well priced. Will be returning on our next trip to Verona

Piccolo locale nelle vie del centro di Verona. L'abbiamo trovato per caso e non eravamo sicuri fosse una buona scelta perché da l'idea di essere più un bar per aperitivi che per pranzi. Invece devo dire che è stato una sorpresa. Non hanno molta scelta soprattutto per i primi. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere misto con salumi e formaggi molto buoni. Anche i secondi ( straccetti di manzo e del cavallo con polenta) ci sono piaciuti. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon bicchiere di vino. Da provare

Esperienza ottima. Osteria tranquilla e un po’ nascosta dal caos del centro, con possibilità sia di pranzare che di stuzzicare qualcosa. Nota positiva all’Oste, molto gentile e disponibile. Cucina buona, ho scelto il baccalà alla vicentina ed era ottimo. Consigliato e per coppie e piccoli gruppi! Se si è in tanti, meglio prenotare. Ci torneremo!

25/05/2025: Sunday lunch, good food and good variety. Homemade tortellini very tasty, prices in line with expectations. The only negative note is the slightly long waiting times (almost half an hour between appetizer and first course); perhaps also due to the large number of customers present.
21/05/2025: Beautiful place, we had lunch outside, in a little street next to the Mincio river. Excellent food, and service too. Recommended!!!

Ristorante al Frassino

13/05/2025: I booked Al Frassino for my son's baptism. All my guests were enchanted by the location, a huge and well-kept garden and a wonderful fountain. Delicious food, I am celiac and I was satisfied. They helped make my son's party perfect. A special thanks to Federica for helping me organize everything. I will definitely be back very willingly.
13/05/2025: Dopo una giornata di meeting, siamo stati premiati con questo stupendo ristorante. Posizionato a fianco dell'abbazia dei frati, ha un parco molto bello. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo iniziato con un risotto alle zucchine e mascarpone che ha favorito il bis, e per alcuni anche il tris. Molto consigliato
