Osteria A La Carega In Verona

For dinner we ordered a plate of high-quality sausages and cheeses from the region and the valpolicella (red wine from Verona) was very good. As a main course, the eggplant parmigiana and the lasagna. Also very good. A terrace in a little corner with a good atmosphere and a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Eye! It's small and fills up quickly.

Italians come here. This is already a recommendation. The menu is short, but the food is very good. I've eaten various things and have never been disappointed. And tiramisu 😱😱😱😱 blows my mind 🙂

Wonderful kid friendly restaurant

It is the last Veronese tavern, where people meet, have a glass and eat something. Anyone who lives in Verona knows what we are talking about. Other similar places have been reduced to meeting places for tourists. May they be preserved and may the Lares of the city keep their eyes open.

Absolute favorite shop in Verona! Away from the hustle and bustle of the arena and its dressed-up visitors in all their glory, here you will find a small, secluded corner where locals, neighbors, young and old Italians come together for a cozy dinner in a down-to-earth and authentic atmosphere. The wines are good, but not top class. The food is great, but no star cuisine or risotto drowned in Amarone for 30 euros. The service is charming and funny, the prices are affordable, the atmosphere is genuine and the cuisine is convincing. Please do not appear here in a ball gown under any circumstances. The service staff wouldn't know how to deal with it. But if you leave the arena aside and want to spend a nice evening among the locals in bustling Verona, this shop is a must.

Non touristy restaurant, good service and good vibes

Good food but cramped place like most taverns. We waited longer than we should but to make up for it they offered us a bitter. It fits 👌
