My partner and I had lunch at Mattia's for the first time on Sunday 15/12 and found a very welcoming environment. The dishes are tasty and substantial, true Tuscan cuisine.
Mattia was very helpful and able to satisfy the requests of many customers (the restaurant was completely full).
Absolutely must try!

This is one of those places that stays in your heart.
Immersed in the beautiful Amiata beech forest, Osteria 101 is run by hospitable and friendly people, the food is delicious and the environment is warm and welcoming.
The menu is never fixed, I had the pleasure of tasting the pici, the fantastic suckling pig with chestnuts and other delicious dishes.
You eat very well and in the meantime you feel pampered by the warmth of the people and the fireplace.
I absolutely want to go back.

Simply fantastic, I don't give 5 stars easily. From the atmosphere, to the service, very friendly and efficient despite the place being full, to the food of remarkable goodness and quality. All at fair prices. Due to the tourist location, I was afraid of finding the prices a little inflated, but this was not the case.
Beautiful place where I will return without a doubt.

A real insider tip in the mountains for anyone who wants fantastic food and entertainment!
The food was excellent, starting with a platter of cold meats and ham - both fantastic - and some great cheese. Followed by pasta with ragú, gorgonzola and walnuts and fantastic truffles.
Afterwards we had meat - duck, veal and wild boar - all very tasty!
The service was fantastic - so accommodating and friendly! We had a fantastic evening! Thank you very much and definitely worth a visit!

If I remember correctly this is the third review we have done......for us Monte Amiata is equivalent to osteria 101......everything perfect I would take up residence..... thanks Mattia you are the best you and the your staff

Very sympathetic owner!
The kitchen was actually already closed, but we still got a delicious piece of cake and a delicious cheese and sausage platter (recommended!!).
Very reasonable prices with a walking area around it that is definitely worth the drive.
