We ate outside in a really cute little square. The staff was very kind and attentive... the cured meats and cheeses were excellent, but the gricia was unfortunately inedible.

A tiny place (reserve) that was recommended to us by our host. Glad we went. Christian gave us a top notch service and he sure knows his wines. The kitchen team excelled as well, according to our palates. Not quite the typical Ombrian menu but rather a creative twist to it.

The high school of classic Umbrian cuisine. The best ingredients are used, cooked and served with heart and soul. They modernize the traditional dishes but by keeping the old values ​​they make the dishes even more enjoyable, e.g. guanciala with pecorino and pasta by adding wild asparagus to a higher, more interesting and exciting level. Likewise, the fava bean puree on the pasta is very special. The wine selection is huge and demanding. The service kind, professional and smiling. The atmosphere is homely. Trattoria piccola ed accogliente. Colpisce il vecchio bancale con marmo e tanti oggetti che adornano gli spazi. Bottiglie tappi e libri fanno da cornice. Le due persone che servono ai tavoli (forse i proprietari/gestori) sorridenti professionali ed accoglienti. I cibi sono buoni, porzioni adeguate e prezzi abbastanza buoni. Insomma un buon compromesso tra gusto e spesa. Una bella sorpresa

Può diventare un posto come l'Oste della mal'ora un posto del cuore già dalla prima volta? Per noi è così!! IO, mia moglie e mio figlio ci siamo sentiti coccolati, ben guidati ed accolti in questo posto che ha un chè di speciale. Ottime le scelte dei taglieri di salumi e formaggi, mi hanno anche accontentato per un assaggio di bruschette col fegato e di ciriole con guanciale e asparagi (veramente spaziali), perfetti i secondi di carne (bombette,faraona e costine), eccellente il vino in abbinamento (Grechetto de La Veneranda) e come dolce una fantastica ricotta di pecora accompagnata da un montefalco sagrantino passito (Az. Trabalza). Se non fosse stato che dovevamo prendere l'aereo di mattina presto, di sicuro ci avremmo fatto nottata, data anche la gradevole compagnia dell'oste Christian e il servizio perfetto di Martina. A presto!!!
