A very decent restaurant, with basic dishes at a very reasonable price. I recommend going to the terrace; you'll have a magnificent view of Venice.

Beautiful place to experience Giudecca in its true essence, share a drink or a prosecco with its people.

On Guidacca, right by the water. A simple, typical osteria, small, with few tables. I had excellent pasta cacio pepe. It couldn't be better. View of Venice. Decent house wine. Very friendly service. Also good for cappuccino and brioche in the morning. Venice can be inexpensive and very good. Highly recommended.

I can suggest this place to everyone who wants to feel the real Venice.. The food is home made, fresh and taste very good
The owner and his son are always here taking turns. Cicchetti are the best and even the wines are so good.

This easy-to-reach restaurant in the Giudecca area is perfect, quiet, and not too crowded. The wine selection is interesting, and the first courses and cicchetti are very good. The one with sardines in saor was exceptional, paired with an excellent prosecco recommended by the host! I'll be back!

Sometimes all it takes is the best salsa rosa ever to turn the night around. An incredible place, with incredible food and quality alcohol. One of the best nights in recent memory. And all thanks to the textbook salsa rosa made by the great Cristian.
Oh, and the prices are absolutely fair.

If you're reading this review, it's because you want to get off the beaten path—but not too far—from Venice's hyper-touristy circuit, and you'll be glad you did if you cross over to Giudecca Island. There you'll find a less crowded, less commercialized Venice, though don't expect a revelation. If you do go there, pop into Osteria da Moro, say hello at the bar in any language other than English (Italian is best, remember you're in Italy), and order a coffee or a macchiato. They'll gladly serve you, and you can enjoy it standing up and continue your walk, or go sit at one of the tables overlooking the lagoon. With that view of Venice, you'll be very happy. As I said, the coffee is good, the view unbeatable, and the service and prices more than fair. It all depends on your attitude. Autumn Boreal 2025
