Ostaria Ca' Brando In Bassano del grappa

Lovely place, peaceful with nice music. The menu is limited as it is an “osteria”. We had vitello tonnato; the “salsa tonnata” is a bit different than the ordinary but ok. The “manzo fumè” was really good! Kind and smiley staff. Our two small dogs were welcome as well.

Discovered by chance last year. It's now a must-see when passing through Bassano. Unique view of the Ponte degli Alpini from the riverbank.

Very characteristic place with a beautiful view. Friendly staff, good food, relaxing atmosphere. They don't serve coffee at the end of the meal. The first time I was a bit perplexed, but then the kindness of the owner and the characteristics of the place certainly make you turn a blind eye. I recommend.

The location is very suggestive if you sit at the tables overlooking the bridge. The food is good but the menu has few choices (I don't know if it was like this only that day because it was June 2nd). Overall the service was not the best, we asked if it was possible to move the umbrella because the sun was shining on us (and on the food) but they preferred to make us move to another table in the middle of lunch by moving all the dishes etc. The waiting staff seemed to be in difficulty because on a holiday there was only one cook in the kitchen. I would recommend it more for an aperitif

With an aperitif in hand, snacks on the table, and a priceless view, we enjoyed it. Friendly service, excellent value for money, I can only recommend it.

Highly recommended for a moment of relaxation on the banks of the Brenta.
