Good pizza, with high crusts, easy to digest, and a wide selection on the menu. Very nice place, suitable for all tastes. They also offer a variety of other dishes besides pizza. Prices are a little above average, but that's acceptable given the location and quality.

A cute little spot, a peaceful oasis in a courtyard just steps from Via Emilia, and Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" playing in the background is top notch. The waiters are excellent and very kind.

I've been familiar with this lovely restaurant, which also serves pizza, for a few years now. The atmosphere is truly charming. Both the interior and the courtyard, with outdoor seating in the summer, are welcoming. The pizza is good and offers interesting options. The service, however, is perhaps a little superficial.

A magical place in the center of Savignano del Rubicone! Truly excellent food. I had a meat main course, accompanied by fricò on the side. To finish off, the revisited Catalan cream. Highly recommended! 😊

Pizza with an amazing dough, perfectly cooked. Truly good ingredients and toppings. I recommend it to anyone who loves quality pizza. I won't even bother talking about the price; the quality/price ratio is excellent. A beautiful location, without too many frills. I'm sorry to have to update my review; the dishes I've had on the last two occasions (not pizza) haven't been up to par. I don't know if anything has changed in the kitchen recently, but everything is acceptable, but not 5-star.

The two of us came on Saturday night at 8:40 PM. We ordered two pizzas, and they arrived at 9:35 PM. Overall, the pizzas weren't bad.

12/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, but it was a real discovery. The service is friendly, and they make you feel at home. The food is excellent, homemade, and made with love. I highly recommend it, both for the food and the kindness of the staff.
29/03/2026: A small but very welcoming place... The lady who served us was a force of nature, and you could tell she was passionate about her work. Many of the products are handmade by them. We had a truly fantastic first course with a sublime white ragù. The prices are good, considering the quality/price ratio. Highly recommended.

Osteria Don Abbondio

27/04/2026: The location is perfect, right next to the Museo Civico San Domenico. We arrived at 1:40 PM feeling very hungry and had high expectations. The restaurant is spacious and we were seated immediately without a reservation. The young staff were energetic and welcoming. However, the timing was a major letdown. After finishing our appetizers, we had to wait 30 minutes for the main course. By the time it arrived, I wasn’t sure if the food was actually good or if I was just starving. Even with few customers left, the dessert took another 10+ minutes. Great atmosphere, but the kitchen pace needs serious improvement.
26/04/2026: We come to Don Abbondio when we're in Forlì for exhibitions at the San Domenico Museum. We love their traditional Romagna cuisine, reinterpreted with a modern twist. Seasonal menu.
