Il posto è molto carino il cibo è molto buono ! Unica cosa che avevamo chiesto la carsolina ci è stato detto che era finita !! Dopo qualche ora la carsolina è apparsa su altri tavoli!

11/12/2025: An old-fashioned place where orders are still taken with a pad of paper, which makes it truly unique and charming. Quality food and reasonable prices Two of us spent €60, but we had everything.

Al Petes Vino e Cibo in Cittavecchia

27/12/2025: We had Christmas Eve dinner here, and it was a wonderful experience. Al Petes, in Trieste, is a very beautiful and well-kept restaurant. One thing I really appreciated was that, even though I don't eat fish, I found excellent meat choices, with an à la carte menu and truly interesting options. I started with cotechino tortellini in broth, which I thought were out of this world, and then continued with delicious goulash and sweetbreads that were out of this world. The staff was excellent, kind, and attentive. Highly recommended!
