Excellent home-cooked food in a beautiful setting of the hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina and overlooking the Umbrian hills. We ate here three times during a two-week stay in the area. The truffle pastas were excellent, so was the grilled lamb. It was a gift to have this place nearby!

An excellent restaurant in one of Italy's most beautiful villages. Traditional Umbrian cuisine, with various mushroom and truffle-based dishes, is served. You can choose from two tasting menus or order à la carte, with a nice selection of dishes. The wine list offers a good selection, with reasonable prices. Overall, excellent value. The grilled lamb was top-notch! You can also eat outside, where you can admire both the magnificent hilly landscape and glimpses of the beautiful town.

Recommended by friends from Città di Castello, it even exceeded expectations.
First, they handled a sudden downpour that forced them to move 30 people inside perfectly.
Then the fantastic food, with outstanding first courses and perfectly cooked tagliata.
Semifreddo and coffee to finish off the meal.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten! Het is dat je je bord niet mag schoon 'likken', anders had ik dit gedaan bij de “Chicche” al tartufo (tortellone ripieno). Het tempo - van de vriendelijke bediening - was prima en je kreeg netjes de vraag of je klaar was voor de volgende gang. En ja, de ambiance en uitzicht is mooi. Net als mijn gezelschap ...

What a unique place, on top of a mountain in the afternoon of a lovely Italian village. A very extensive menu with so many goodies... (the egg with truffle!!!) Wonderful atmosphere on the outdoor terrace. Very large portions. Delicious food, recommended.

Il ristorante si trova in un luogo incantato. Si deve salire molto attraversando una strada isolata, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Si arriva in un paese medievale splendido e il locale è proprio in cima al paese con una vista spettacolare su tutta la vallata. Cibo tipico cucinato benissimo. Carta dei vini ottima e a prezzi molto più che onesti. Tornassi in Umbria sarebbe il primo locale in cui andrei
