Dinner at fish bar ortigia was very nice. Fresh gamberoni grilled, fritura calamari also very good. A quiet place a bit outside the busy city. Emily Service and accomodating for portions for kids.

I'll be back every time I come to Ortigia! Amazing food (the caponata and linguine Vigliena are legendary!) Beautiful and welcoming place, fast and very friendly service! Then, just outside the door is the fort with a view of the castle, and you can take a walk to digest! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a great little restaurant. Does what it says on the door - great seafood. The swordfish steak with pistachio was exceptional. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.

expertly prepared fresh fish food. Staff has probably the best English in all of Sicily and is funny and in a great mood probably the most real and authentic thing you can find in Ortigia if you sit on the street, cats will come to ask for food. We didnt mind but the couple next to us did

We loved this place. Small cozy yet it is full of warmth. Wished the menu had more choices but with what they had it was very tasty and fresh. Loved their fried stuffed sardines with pine nuts and raisins. Their server was amazing and very friendly. Would definitely go back again.

I personally ordered: octopus on creamed potatoes and sweet and sour red wine as an appetizer; spaghetti with clams, shrimp, and Bronte PDO pistachios as a main course; and a glass of white wine (Grillo from the Rapitalà cellars). The portions are generous, the place is very charming, the staff is friendly and welcoming, the quality and deliciousness of the food is exceptional, and the price is fair. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: We dined here on 3 occasions as we were staying in the hotel, even though we had plenty of options in the area, this was one of the best restaurants around. The service was outstanding. The food was always fresh, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality.
11/10/2025: We booked a table for two on The Fork (discount applied). We found a selection of wines to our liking (including our favorite Sicilian wine). The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, with impeccable service. We had some requests for additions to the daily menu, which were well-received and, above all, well-executed by the chef. What can I say? The location, service, and cuisine were impeccable. Having tried many other restaurants in Portopalo in the previous few days, I can honestly say this is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. We'll definitely be back! Thank you, the staff and chef, you treated us and all your other guests like royalty!
