My wife and I went to Origini in Altamura and we left with a big smile and a light heart. We ate really well: dishes that tell the story of the territory, seasonality and local tradition, with a personal touch that does not distort but enhances. Even the fish dishes surprised us for their freshness and taste: in particular the tagliolini with seafood and yellow datterini tomatoes, simply exceptional. The owner, Marco, is an exquisite person: nice, friendly, he welcomes you naturally and makes you feel at home. He is attentive to every need and always tries to satisfy you with sincerity and passion. All the staff also deserve a note of merit for their kindness and helpfulness. The kitchen is open, and this adds transparency and warmth to the experience. The wine list is extensive and well-curated. In all of this, the excellent quality-price ratio is also striking: you eat really well, in an authentic and well-kept environment, spending the right amount for what you receive. Origini is not the classic “established” restaurant: it is a real, essential place, where quality does not need frills. A place that welcomes you and makes you feel good, where you gladly return because you feel in tune with what you eat and with those who prepare it.

I found this place by chance on the internet. A surprise, very nice place, very welcoming staff. But what is most striking is the variety of dishes that they listed. Excellent quality K0 products with excellent balances. I recommend it and would happily go back. Price almost out of market for the quality of the place. About 25 euros per person 5 full stars

Locale molto accogliente, personale cordiale e sempre accomodante. Cibo di ottima qualità, piatti della tradizione rivisitati in chiave innovativa e sfiziosa. Menù di terra davvero molto ampio e goloso ma su prenotazione anche con il mare si difendono molto ma molto meglio di tanti locali blasonati della costa barese! Una bellissima scoperta, posto consigliatissimo
