This place was recommended to us during a stay in Altamura. The initial welcome was very warm and hospitable, making us feel immediately at ease. Unsure of what to try, we relied on the staff's recommendations, who suggested house specialties like cavatelli and stracotto. Great value for money. I highly recommend it if you're in Altamura.

Excellent cuisine using seasonal ingredients. I really appreciated the desire to offer traditional dishes without overly radically altering the recipe. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the seating capacity is adequate, and the owner is very friendly. The only flaw is the location—not the size, but the lack of windows or light, which can feel claustrophobic when the place is full (subjective). The gluten-free dishes are delicious.

We've been touring Puglia for 10 days, and I can say it's the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. It's a place without a menu, which already gives you a clue as to the type of cuisine you'll find. The service and friendliness are also exquisite. Don't hesitate, go there without hesitation; you won't find a better place.

For those of you from Northern Italy: you won't be given a menu with prices because the dishes change daily, but the prices represent a good quality-price ratio and are absolutely fair.
