De keuken is culinaire top. Werkelijk het beste dat we in al die jaren in Venetië aten. Ook het kader is rustig en aangenaam. De prijzen zijn hoog maar de service is heel stijlvol.

We were there for a long weekend in April and loved it. Top location, very attentive and professional service staff. The suite we booked was like a museum and had a charming ambience like the whole house. We would book there again at any time.

Such a beautiful hotel and collection of arts. Sitting on the rio de la pleta and overlooking the Venice lagoon, the Metropole hotel was amazing. You are within 5 minutes of San Marco square and 3 minutes from the Bridge of Sighs. Venice blew us away and the Metropole was icing on the cake.

Muy bonito y tranquilo bar dentro del hotel metropole. El bar es muy tranquilo ambiente con camarero profesional nos dio un buen tiempo. Nos recomendó otro restaurante de alta gama para probar y no fue decepcionado. Lino, el camarero, muy profesional, amable y conocedor de lo que está haciendo. 10 / 10 recomendado.

Def. a different experience. Spooky in a way but charming, elegant and cozy at the same time. The rooms look old but that is its originality, the spa is to dye for as you can rent the room for yourself and your spouse. The food is devine and they treat you like roalty.

We were lucky enough to stay in this hotel... We consider visiting Venice a privilege and a dream... But staying at the Metropole is a dream within a dream. It feels like entering a splendid 18th century Venetian palace. Everything brings back the magic of that era. Great attention to detail and highly professional staff... But what is striking is the love they express for their city and for their work. Thanks to Stefano and all the staff

Historic hotel very close to Piazza S. Marco offers attentive and attentive service. Very good and rich breakfast. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Kindness and courtesy are the qualities we found in the staff.

01/12/2024: Very good location, beautiful views, very good food, especially the pizza, what I didn't like is paying €6 for the cutlery and a water from 1/2 to €5 the price of the pasta and pizza acceptable, the waiter He was looking all the time to see if we were leaving, when he asked for the bill he already had it ready in his hand, they wanted the table free.

01/08/2024: I would say it is a 7 * hotel. The attention to detail is astonishing- drinks on arrival,fresh flowers, fruit, little cushion matt on the floor to step on by your bed… Celebrated special occasion with our family. The staff is very professional and helpful, concierge organised all our activities on requests, which we really enjoyed. Everything about this place is great-rooms, views, gardens, wellness, pool, location, food, restaurants, the cloud like pillows, toiletries … Thank you very much for looking after us so well and making it really special and memorable occasion for us. A little note for the customers: all restaurants in the hotel have a dress up code which we were not aware of. Only travelling light, no long trousers, just linen formal shorts, which are not allowed. It’s far too hot for us English to wear long trousers in 40*C :). Perhaps the Cipriani should consider the formal dress code only in the Michelin star restaurant.
