Oriental Bar In Venezia

Excellent service with lots of attention to details. All the staff were super friendly. The room was great. Perfect location, beautiful decor inside the hotel and through out all floor. All as a 5 star hotel should be. We will be back.

If you wish live in a gone-by era, stay in Metropole. Each floor’s corridor has a different theme, is a museum by its own right. I would return to sit by the canal & sip way the afternoon tea / Aperol. Did Anthony Vivaldi live in that building ? Its a stunning place, comes a price but worth every cent.

Old hotel but updated. it seems to be an odd mixture of British and oriental but it is in Venice. Beautiful outdoor areas with dining and bar options. There are many different areas to gather. We found a gorgeous glass gazebo in the garden with lemon trees and seating for 2.

This hotel was beautiful and situated in a pretty location but it did not seem like a 5 star hotel at all. The first room we were given had a shower that was completely covered in mold and only half of the shower head had water coming out. They gave us a new room which was much better but overall the room was pretty standard. Nothing crazy. The staff was a mixed bag. Several members of the front staff were incredibly rude during our stay and just acted very passive aggressive towards us during the stay. They were also unfriendly when I asked about charges included in our bill. Also keep in mind if you are coming from the train station or airport ~ this hotel is VERY far. Overall, for what we paid I was unhappy with the stay and would not stay here again.

This hotel is very cute, but I have a room that once I open my suitcases, I’ve got about 2 inches of space left. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the bidet doesn’t automatically turn on.

Great location. 5-minute walk from St. Mark's Square. Excellent service. The concierge organized a private taxi tour for island hopping upon request, plus support on the individual islands. It all went very smoothly. We only had breakfast there, and that was very good. The room was cleaned immediately after we put the card on the door. The service is simply excellent, and the entire hotel is like a Venetian museum. Each department has its own theme. We are very happy to have booked here. There is nothing to complain about. The price is also very low for a 5-star hotel.

An unforgettable experience in true Venetian tradition. Entering the Hotel Metropole is a dive into a world that blends Renaissance and Gothic styles. What a pleasure to savor a spritz in this setting that resembles a cabinet of curiosities. We were lucky enough to stay in a room overlooking the lagoon and the island of San Giorgio di Maggiore across the street. Memorable.

One of the best 5-star hotels in Venice, with top-notch rooms, services, and staff. The refined decor is almost reminiscent of the luxury of the Orient Express.
