Really cute little place, welcoming staff, very attentive to customer service and recommendations, the food is wonderful, the vegetarian/vegan dishes are delicious, not to mention the vast selection of wines. Highly recommended!!!

Delightful place! Very welcoming and quaint atmosphere and an extremely high-quality menu. All the dishes we ordered were excellent! From the local cured meats to the wonderful orecchiette with turnip greens. Wide selection of wines, and very friendly staff! Definitely worth a try :)

We went twice in one week, ordering different dishes. Both times, the food was very good. Excellent service. The menu was extensive, and the wine list was even more extensive. The price was more than reasonable.

26/12/2025: Beautiful place. Very thoughtfully prepared dishes. Having booked in advance, they made sure there was a vegan. The chef prepared these delicious and meticulously prepared dishes, just like the fish dishes. The appetizer was photographed after the first bite. Battered zucchini flowers with pumpkin cream. Paccheri with eggplant and mushrooms, and fava beans and chicory with corn chips.
05/12/2025: We were passing through and wanted to have lunch in San Severo. Locals recommended L'Esca to us, and it turned out to be a fantastic tip. The food was delicious (we had fish dishes), the service staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, so we were completely satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Friendly, fast, attentive, cuisine with old-fashioned flavors, portions from days gone by, panoramic views, I found my forgotten cell phone.
30/11/2025: Not a trattoria, not a restaurant, but a fusion of both, with a family atmosphere that really makes you feel at home. The owner is uniquely friendly, he drags you into a vortex of irony that makes you spend your refreshment time in the best possible way. Typical dishes of the area, recommended for dinners with friends, family lunches and work breaks.
