Open Gate In Sant'egidio del monte albino

We loved our stay at Hotel Open Gate! We did 5 nights in October, the weather was beautiful as was the view! The staff was also incredibly helpful and kind. We had breakfast there every morning, and dinner twice, the food was great. Being able after a long day to have a dinner right at the hotel was a relief. But also very easy to access other major parts of the coast via the SITA bus (if you have big luggage they do have storage on the outside of the bus, opposite to the entrance), as well as walk to other places in Praiano. Hoping we can come back someday!

I just finished dinner at this little restaurant, which I think should be included on the UNESCO list because it captures the true essence of the Amalfi Coast. Excellent service, all supervised and supervised by the owners. Excellent cuisine, highly recommended. The seafood scialatielli are truly unique, handmade by the local, native chef. Very tasty, but the lasagna was incredibly small. And quite expensive, too.

This Praiano accomodation is charming and the perfect base between Amalfi and Positano. The SITA bus stop is 5 mins away and the Mobility bus to Positano stops in their carpark (you need to flag it down, it won’t automatically stop). The brother and sister running the place are lovely and extremely helpful - top tier hospitality. They would assist with all my numerous queries even those relating to activities like hiking Path of the Gods. They were also concerned about my safety and checked on me when I attempted it which was above and beyond! The breakfast spread was good and the place had really good sunrise view. Given the pricing of accommodation in the area, its pricing is relatively reasonable. If you ever visit the Amalfi Coast, I highly recommend the Open Gate Hotel. PS : Day trips don’t do these coastal towns justice.

What a fantastic place! Excellence in service at all times, all the staff were very attentive, interacting as if we were already friends, always affectionate, patient and smiling, the room was impeccable, the breakfast was sensational, dinner we ate the house specialty was the best seafood dish I've ever eaten! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very well taken care of. The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome and appreciated as guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and hospitality!

This place has a certain je ne sais quoi; from the physical structure, terroir, and staff. Honestly, we are only half way through our stay, but are impressed with the quality of the overall experience. This establishment is run by those who understand hospitality.

There was a problem with my AirB reservation, so I just popped in at 11 PM to check and ask if there were any rooms available. I stayed for four nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a few requests for documentation, and they were so kind and accommodating. Not only the front desk staff, but everyone, including the breakfast staff, was so friendly and welcoming. If I ever return to the South, I'll definitely be back here! The location seemed a bit difficult without a rental car, but it was right in front of the bus stop, so I could easily walk there!

We had a perfect 3-day vacation here. Arriving in Amalfi, this is probably the most suitable location to stay (Praiano is located between the towns of Almalfi and Positano) It is very easy to travel by bus to these 2 places (bus line 9 is 300m from the hotel) a location that takes 30 minutes to travel. The rooms here are very clean and beautiful, with a beautiful direct view of the sea. The staff in the hotel are very enthusiastic and friendly. They give very enthusiastic instructions. It is worth staying here
