Olmo In Sondrio

Excellent experience. Definitely worth repeating! The dinner was excellent. If I ever come back to Sondrio, I'll definitely return to this magnificent trattoria!! Highly recommended!!

Very nice place, efficient staff and quality food, highly recommended

We found this restaurant by searching on Google Maps. Given the reviews, we decided to go there. The location is modern and appealing, even though it's a trattoria. The menu is varied, including a special of the day. I had some really good pizzoccheri. It was amazing! Definitely worth a try if you're in Sondrio, even if you're just passing through, as I was. They also sell various local products, such as pizzoccheri, jams, and even pesteda di Grosio (a very tasty local seasoning). The only downside was the difficulty in getting there, but that's more of a Google problem than the restaurant itself.

The food and service were excellent. The place was nice and very tidy.

Typical dishes, but also reinterpretations with local ingredients. Everything is really good, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

We had a truly wonderful evening, excellent food and impeccable service, the girl was really attentive to our every request and super kind and helpful, spectacular cold cuts not to mention the pizzoccheri, homemade desserts that are worth it... highly recommended!

During my stay in Sondrio for trekking in Valtellina, I had the opportunity to dine at Trattoria Olmo twice. The overall experience was good, but there were some differences between the first and second visits. The first dinner was truly excellent. I started with a very well-prepared tartare, followed by blueberry gnocchi, unique and tasty, and Vallespluga cockerel with a side of vegetables. All the courses were carefully prepared and flavorful, the only complaint being the somewhat limited portion of vegetables. The service on this occasion was excellent, with a kind and attentive waiter and a well-paced meal. The second dinner, however, didn't entirely confirm the initial good impression. I returned for the tartare, again of good quality, but this time the gnocchi seemed different, with a thinner sauce and a smaller portion. For my second meal, I chose the tagliata with potatoes. The meat was good, but the portion was very small, and the potatoes, while excellent, were few. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par with my first experience, with very long waits between the appetizer and the main course. Overall, the prices are fair and proportionate to the offerings, but the restaurant doesn't particularly stand out for either quantity or consistent service. The quality of the dishes is there, but it lacks consistency and attention to detail, which make the difference. Overall, I'd say Trattoria Olmo is an honest and average place, with good ideas, but don't expect a memorable experience.

Cena fi famiglia in centro a Sondrio, ci siamo fidati delle recensioni. Piatti tradizionali con porzioni abbondanti, buoni primi, ottima la tagliata e dolci super. Ottimo anche il vino. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Siamo stati soddisfatti.

Ci sono stato due sere a cena con la mia fidanzata. Personale sempre gentilissimo, ottimo servizio! Siamo stati in due dei tre ambienti differenti del locale, uno piu' ampio stile anni 70, l'altro piu' fine. Abbiamo cenato la prima sera dividendoci gli sciatt poi per me pizzoccheri e per lei arrosto con le mele. La seconda sera ho scelto il cervo in salmi', pizzoccheri per lei. Tutti i piatti sono stati sublimi, gustosissimi e molto abbondanti! Conti onesti! consigliatissimo!
