In a short stay in Florence, I was pleasantly delighted by a dinner booked at the last minute at the Oliviero Restaurant, a place with characteristic furnishings and an intimate atmosphere with background music, ideal for a dinner for couples. The quality of the food is high, served with the utmost care and attention by the young and very kind staff

One of the iconic restaurants in Florence, very good typical dishes, homemade pasta, the Top Fiorentina steak especially paired with a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino, thanks also to the impeccable service of the staff who were very professional and kind. I recommend the Truffle pasta and the steak that fits under 4 fingers as the waiter said and a carpaccio. I will definitely return

Prima di salutare il 2024, con largo anticipo abbiamo prenotato in questo locale prossimo al centro di Firenze. La scelta ovviamente cadde su un tagliere di affettati e formaggi misti locali e una doverosa fiorentina, che gustammo con vivo piacere, riscontrando una qualità alta. Il tortino caldo al cioccolato con gelato alla vaniglia sopra è stato il degno finale di un'ottima cena. Il locale è estremamente pulito e curato, come il servizio e la gentilezza generali. I prezzi sono leggermente più alti della media, ma la qualità del tutto ripaga e ristora.

This restaurant was highly recommended to me by a friend. The interior was very elegant and welcoming. The staff were very courteous. Our waiter recommended a white wine which went perfect with our meals. Overall, we enjoyed our food and drinks. Here are some of the food items we tried: 🍅Caprese 🍄‍🟫Tagliolini Tartufo 🥩Grilled Beef Fillet 🍆Mixed Grilled Vegetables 🍋Limoncello

12/11/2024: Don't trust appearances and try this place that will surprise you. The cuisine is excellent, the staff trained and helpful, the environment ordinary. Without any problem, trust the sommelier who will be able to recommend the right wine for your desires, without spending a fortune. Of course you pay for all this, but at least you do it satisfied with the offer.
19/10/2024: A local wine shop recommended this ristorante for its pasta but everything was fantastic. We ate there 2 of our 4 nights in Greve. Roberto was the main server and was accommodating, kind and knowledgeable about wine pairing. The food was elegant, comforting and simple, using top notch local and seasonal ingredients. Of course it had an awesome wine list showcasing Chianti Classico and Riserva. Nice digestifs and desserts. I know tiramisu is ubiquitous in Italia but theirs is truly is excellent. Try the peposo or the stuffed guinea fowl with potatoes. For pasta we had tagliatelle with porcini and a pappardelle with roe deer.

16/12/2024: Lovely experience with authentic Tuscan delicacies! The “tonno Toscano” is an old recipe and it was delicious! We appreciated the small selection of simple wines by the glass and the quality of the meats—you will not find a lot of choices by the standards of other places, but you will be eating something authentic and of good quality for a reasonable price.
