Absolutely delicious- in quiet street off tourist track--several dishes not found elsewhere and not expensive like asparagus souffle and eggplant tournedos And prawn risotto- all freshly cooked Have been here several times already Would highly recommend

Good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. We ate well, the presentation was impressive and elegant, and the waiters were friendly. The only drawback is that the tables are very close together; you can hear everyone's conversations, which can be annoying if the place is crowded and you want privacy. The music selection is unusual but very pleasant. The restrooms are well-organized, and even contain useful little gadgets for both the men's and women's bathrooms.

I visited here on the guide's recommendation. It was the most atmospheric and romantic place I'd ever been to in Italy. The food was delicious. After eating only pasta and T-bone steak, I tried risotto for the first time and it was heavenly. 😁 Every Saturday, a pianist comes to play the piano, which was truly amazing. And the service was excellent. This was the first restaurant I've ever been to that was so friendly. :) You won't regret it.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The wait staff were the perfect combination of friendly and professional, even though I am sure they get tired of tourists clumsily trying to speak the Italian language when ordering food. The presentation, texture and flavor of the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely return here on another trip to Florence (Firenze).

22/10/2025: Honestly the best steak we had in Tuscany, me and my wife finished it in 6 minutes. We tried other steakhouses that were highly rated and honestly it wasn’t nearly as good. We also liked how we could have the option of medium rare/rare and the appetizers + pasta were super good too.
11/10/2025: Very pleasant outside if you want to watch life pass by. Super friendly and attentive staff. Across the board, there's something for all ages.

01/12/2025: Our fifth time in three years and it always delivers a quality meal. A few steps from Santa Croce Piazza, it's enough off the path to appeal to locals and tourists alike. Mario, the long-time manager, greets you with a warm smile and a traditional menu, all within a cozy place. Anything with cingiale is recommended. I had the ravioli with ample and flavorful ragu sauce.
01/12/2025: A very nice place, right next to Santa Croce, but not terribly expensive. It's definitely a bit touristy, though. Good options, an extensive menu, but nothing particularly outstanding. In fact, for a good but very basic pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) for €17, I think it's a steal. The gnocchi with gorgonzola and pears are excellent, and the ravioli with nettles are a must.
