Oliva e L'ingegnere rappresenta oramai una nostra tappa fissa estiva. Anche quest'anno siamo ritornati da loro e come sempre non ci hanno deluso. Il posto è intimo ed accogliente e propone pochi coperti. La cucina è eccellente ed innovativa, ogni anno troviamo un nuovo menù. Le portate sono equilibrate ed esaltano i sapori dei singoli ingredienti, il tutto con un'ottima carta dei vini.
E' davvero difficile dire cosa ci è piaciuto di più della nostra cena, perché è stato tutto squisito a partire dagli antipasti per finire ai dolci. Il prezzo è giusto per l'elevata qualità che offrono.
Ci ritorneremo presto come sempre!

Oliva e L'ingegnere is now a regular summer stop for us. This year too we returned to them and as always they did not disappoint us. The place is intimate and welcoming and offers few seats. The cuisine is excellent and innovative, every year we find a new menu. The courses are balanced and enhance the flavors of the individual ingredients, all with an excellent wine list.
It's really difficult to say what we liked most about our dinner, because everything was delicious, starting from the appetizers and ending with the desserts. The price is right for the high quality they offer.

Scoperto per caso. Questo ristorante è stata una deliziosa sorpresa. Dagli antipasti ai dolci, piatti ricercati e gustosi.
Siamo ritornati anche una seconda sera durante la nostra vacanza, per gustare altri piatti del menù.
Ottimo anche il vino che viene proposto e prodotto dal proprietario.

We found this amazing Enobistrot by accident and were blown away by the high quality of the delucious food and the excellent service . We can highly recommend a visit to this place for an excellent lunch or dinner.

We happened upon it by chance on a Saturday evening in July... we gave up the sea view but in exchange we enjoyed excellent and well-presented dishes. The natural rose wine produced by the house is noteworthy... a real gem! (we also bought a couple of bottles) Congratulations to Oliva and the Engineer

Well-kept place and friendly and knowledgeable staff, the raw materials are of a high standard but whoever prepares them is an ARTIST because if you don't know how to handle them there's little you can do!

You return from Ponza and look for a trattoria to eat something quickly and instead you find yourself in a "gourmet restaurant" that you wouldn't have expected!!!
Excellent food, from starters to desserts, cooked with imagination and skill, a pleasant welcome like the venue, which although small makes everything more intimate

While passing through Formia we stopped for dinner. It was a great experience, the raw materials were excellent and the preparation was even better. The location may not be by the sea but the quality of the food overshadows it. Highly recommended!
