Good and fresh the buffalo mozzarella caprese, generously filled sandwiches. Average prices for a place in the historic center of a city. Kind and helpful service. For three: 2 sandwiches, a caprese, 2 medium beers, an iced tea, 2 coffees, total 44 Eur. Good. See you next time.

Unfortunately, the food is only available in the microwave ;((( But this isn't announced in advance. The lady at the service is very confident and likes to sing along to the songs on the radio.

10/01/2025: Non si può tirar dritto, bisogna assolutamente fermarsi. Tappa fissa quando si capita da questa parti. Oltre agli arrosticini si trova diversi tipi di carne e non solo. Griglie sempre pronte.
05/11/2024: Tappa ideale per chi va o rientra da Campo Imperatore, negozio a gestione familiare con griglie esterne dove ognuno si può cucinare la carne, fra cui i famosi arrosticini, che si compra all interno. La fila non è velocissima, dovuto più che altro al numero di persone che si presentano nei giorni festivi.

04/08/2025: A very traditional restaurant with many photos reminiscent of the Castel di Sangro of yesteryear. The cuisine is traditional, with excellent ingredients. Try the gnocchi with sausage and broccoli and the platter. Among the side dishes, the chicory is excellent, and the homemade fries are exceptional. The arrosticini are good, perhaps a little overcooked. A good selection of wines, including the house wine (Montepulciano). The staff is attentive and friendly. Overall, a highly recommended place!
20/07/2025: We booked this restaurant for lunch, in the center of Castel di Sangro. I ordered the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles, and they were delicious. Then I had a truly enormous veal cutlet with salad. The meat was tender and well-cooked. So, really good. The hostess is very nice and friendly. Prices are a little higher than the Abruzzo average. My only suggestion is to give the tagliatelle a couple more forkfuls. Otherwise, I ate well. See you next time!
