A pleasure for the eyes and the palate

Before saying anything else, keep this in mind: the dishes are good! The food is good, everything is good! But, there's a but. Unfortunately, we can't share the enthusiasm of many other reviews we've read. We spent just under €80 for two starters, two desserts (one of which was a fruit salad), and a single portion of fried porcini mushrooms. The dishes are good but overall average. I ordered a fruit salad because I was craving fruit, my girlfriend ordered a chocolate basket with pistachio mousse inside: the mousse was pistachio ice cream, and the plate was surrounded by various fruits... if I'd known that, I wouldn't have ordered a fruit salad. I recommend writing it on the menu because it might change someone's mind. Overall, a nice place, the ingredients are certainly high-quality, but the dishes are definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately, a bit overrated (but still good!)

Arrived here (with reservation/view request), warm welcome, nice, breezy place. Excellent quality breadsticks served with bread, appetizer entree (excellent). Water, 1 shared appetizer, 1 main course (chamois with polenta - children's portion) + 1 first course, 2 desserts, a glass of wine and cover charge: €92 - a bit pricey for the quality and quantity. There are better places in the area.

Convenient for visiting the Castle, with parking, excellent dishes (we ordered the menu of the day), excellent wine. Attentive, efficient, and friendly staff. Great price.

Ristorante di cucina tipica valdostana. Buona scelta dei piatti e dei vini. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Abbiamo preso una fonduta e porcini fritti come antipasto, poi una buona chateaubriand con salsa bernese. Carne cotta al punto giusto e buonissima. Delle buone patate al forno e un buona bottiglia di vino rosso della zona consigliato ottimamente dal cameriere. Cinsigluato

Siamo capitati per caso, fermandoci dopo un lungo viaggio. Abbiamo trovato un locale accogliente e caratteristico, personale delizioso. La cucina è superlativa. Il vero piacere del cibo. Una bella esperienza. Superconsigliato!!
