I was staying in a village in Tuscany, spending every day indulging in pasta and saying, "Delicious! Delicious!" But just when I was starting to feel a bit heavy in my stomach, a staff member at a local restaurant recommended this place to me. "There's a great restaurant nearby. The husband is Italian and the wife is Japanese." I didn't have high expectations when I went, but after one bite I was blown away! It seems to be very popular with Italians, as the restaurant was nearly full, with some customers ordering takeout. It was my first time experiencing such delicious Japanese food at such an affordable price abroad.

My girlfriend and I had lunch on a beautiful autumn day. The menu offers very interesting dishes, based on Japanese cuisine with international influences. The dishes are truly well-prepared; tasty and well-balanced in flavor. The tuna tartar with guacamole and a sprinkling of spring onions is truly commendable! The wine selection is good, mostly Italian. The atmosphere is very informal, with excellent and discreet service. A truly pleasant surprise. Well done ✌️

A meal at OKA is special to me as it reminds me of the nostalgia and longing I feel for Japan. I would be so happy if people who have never been to Japan could also try it! I'll definitely come again!
