Amazing, great ice cream and a shop with a wonderful atmosphere in the heart of Udine's beautiful old town. Delicious ice cream flavors and fresh chocolate from the chocolate fountain in a cone.

The gelato is plentiful, but not too much. For €2, the quality is truly excellent. They fill your cone with melted chocolate for FREE! ✨️✨️ Highly recommended!

Excellent gelato, the pistachio and gianduja are exceptional. Finally, a quality gelato that isn't overly sweet, as unfortunately happens in almost all gelato shops. I also love that they don't offer a huge variety of flavors, focusing instead on the quality of the ones offered. For my taste, I'd reduce the sugar a bit, but it's still delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly.

Ottima gelateria nel pieno del centro storico: alcuni gusti buoni, altri davvero strepitosi, bisogna assaggiarli un po’ tutti per trovare i propri preferiti. Colata di cioccolato sempre attiva per riempire il cono o quant’altro. Non tanti gusti ma particolarissimi! Il locale è anche molto pulito. Ma la grande differenza la fa il ragazzo alto e dai capelli scuri, spesso con gli occhiali, che serve il gelato ( c’è praticamente sempre, tutti i giorni a tutte le ore!): educatissimo, disponibile e sempre sorridente, davvero di una gentilezza rara.

The hard work that goes into each dish, the selection of excellent ingredients, and the attention to presentation make every experience at Il Tiglio an unforgettable pleasure. 10/09/2025: PARKING Before you sit down at your table, Al Tiglio offers you an adventure-movie prologue: the search for parking. It's not impossible, but it's the kind of mission that earns you dinner. In the end, when you walk in, you feel like a hero who's conquered the relic. ATMOSPHERE The place isn't big, and that's a good thing. Because every detail seems designed with the precision of a Japanese calligrapher. Just the right lighting, thoughtful furnishings, no excess. Picturesque on the outside, bright on the inside: in the summer, the outdoor tables seem already taken by the cheerful chatter you can't wait to hear. THE MENU Not vegan? It doesn't matter. Here, the kitchen doesn't ask you for party membership, it simply knocks you out. The dishes don't try to "imitate" the carnivorous tradition, but challenge it to a duel. And they often win. You can choose a guided tour, like in a gastronomic theme park where each stop is a surprise you'd never imagine ordering alone. LOTS OF SMOKE AND... A TWIST The signature dish is this: "Lots of smoke and no roast." A name that seems designed to mock you, but it throws you off at the first bite. It looks like meat. It smells like meat. It fools you like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Except here, there's no rabbit... there. Vegetable fillet with creamed carrots and mustard: a dish that, if served blind, could send even a cattle farmer into a tailspin. DESSERT: THE FINAL APPLAUSE The desserts arrive, and you realize you're not in a restaurant: you're in a theater. Every bite is the final act, the applause that closes the show. Sweetness that's never cloying, a harmony of flavors that don't try to please everyone, but succeed nonetheless. THE SERVICE The staff doesn't just bring dishes, they bring stories. They explain, recount, and guide you. They ask you sincerely how you found your meal, and as you answer, you notice a smile. It's that kind attention that makes dinner a complete experience, not just a meal. PRICES Those looking for a "light" bill are in the wrong place here. Al Tiglio doesn't play for cheap: what you pay is exactly what you get. And what you get is vegan haute cuisine that makes you forget all about labels. Fair price, immense value. CONCLUSION Five stars, without hesitation. Al Tiglio is living proof that vegan cuisine isn't a second-rate option, but an art that can make you laugh at the most common prejudice: "Hey, but without meat, it's just not the same." Right: here, it's much better.

19/10/2025: Every dish at my first vegan dinner was a real surprise. You can clearly taste the refined, creative dishes, made with genuine love. Balanced flavors and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, a place where you immediately feel at home. The staff is impeccably kind. The service was truly perfect. My sincere compliments to Chef Walter! You clearly show great passion in your work. Highly recommended!
09/10/2025: Small, very welcoming place, delicious vegan food, including desserts, attentive and friendly staff, good wines. We ate so much because we wanted everything!
