Perfect spot to taste some local means and cheese. It was a hot day, this was the perfect spot to relax and cool down for a moment; pay at the counter when you leave. Very nice staff
Unfortunately I didn't eat well. The baked lasagna had a béchamel sauce that wasn't such and even the ragù wasn't very tasty. In these places you expect more. The dessert was tasteless, (shortcrust pastry with ricotta and honey).

Il posto è davvero bello, atmosfera intima ma conviviale, perfetto sia per coppie che per gruppi, in pieno centro. La cucina mi è piaciuta, finalmente qualcuno che propone piatti diversi dai soliti piatti della tradizione, cucina ottima con influenze parmigiane e liguri. Ottimo il baccalà!
Il servizio però è stato molto molto lento e un po' disattento (ci hanno fatto sedere in una posizione per cui si sbatteva la testa contro una lampada, ci siamo dovuti spostare il tavolo da soli).
Ma soprattutto, grande difetto è l'acustica della sala: se soffrite di emicrania o più semplicemente volete sentire quello che dice il vostro commensale, non è questo il luogo. Abbiamo dovuto urlare tutta la sera perchè si sentiva solo un gran vociare e baccano, come allo stadio. Peccato

found by chance like an oasis in the desert they welcomed us as if we were at home. super starters, highly recommended house wine, main course absolutely worth trying. Very kind staff who welcome you as if you were at home. Absolutely recommended if you come to Parma.

We ate here on a Sunday after a desperate attempt to find somewhere open after 2.30pm
Even though they were about to close the kitchen, they welcomed us and offered excellent service: the staff was very kind and helpful and the food was also of excellent quality.
The touch of class is the coffee that is brought into the freshly prepared mocha with two delicious biscuits: we felt like we were at a real classy home-made Sunday lunch!
We highly recommend and will definitely be back 🤩

Very good food, I would eat another ten plates of testaroli with walnut pesto.
We shared farinata and herb cake as a starter, followed by an encore and a trio of testaroli.
Intimate and welcoming place, the owners very nice and kind.
I will be back to try other dishes that inspired me!

Da Giovanni non si sbaglia mai. Cucina ottima, piatti semplici della tradizione ma eccezionali nel gusto grazie alla materia prima buonissima e alla bravura di Giovanni nel prepararli, servizio sempre gentile e puntuale. Che dire un posto UNICO a Parma!
