Odori e sapori al vecchio monte In Palermo

The food was really really good. I ordered the pasta with white sauce and pistachio, it was one of my favorites! The oysters were so tasty! The salad - sardine and shallot.. was really fresh and tasty too. The service was overall good, the waiter was friendly and attentive; the warm food took a bit longer to be served. Cleanliness could be improved there’s no soap neither water in the toilet, and it smells really bad.

Very tasty food and nice atmosphere. Everything was fresh and well prepared and the portions were just right. Nice service. Nice place for a quiet lunch or dinner. I will definitely come back here.

Note: one star less for the environment only because it is in a narrow street with traffic passing by. But perfect food and service. To return.

We arrived at Odori e sapori restaurant, tired from a long day journey to Sicily and immediately felt hugged by the welcome, service and food. The atmosphere is simple, but it delivers a lot! We were there for a very late lunch and had a selection of food to share. Unfortunately we devoured most of it too quicly before taking a photo. But the Sicilian starter (to share) was a delicious selection of caponata, croquetes, Sicilian cheese, breaded aubergine, bruschetta, etc (see photo). We also had a fritto misto di pesce ( mixed fried fish and seafood), rolled aubergine ( Involtini di melanzana), octopus with potatoes ( only here, the octopus was slightly too all dente, and wished the potatoes were cooked with the octopus as they do in Rome, but delicious all the same!) plenty of delicious bread. We had a bottle of their house wine that was delicious ( Chardonnay). I strongly recommend this restaurant for the authentic food and warm service. The menu offer a great of variety of Sicilian food, at an extremely good price, cooked by the lovely owner's wife. They take pride in what they do. Simple place and great food!

Wonderfully fresh seafood in quantities you can't eat🤩 other restaurants are closing down😊

We ordered pasta with mussels (we could eat it) and risotto marinara, which is actually boiled rice with a mix of seafood topped with a pseudo-stock. Unfortunately, the dish wasn't even next to the real risotto. I only ate because I was hungry. White wine of very poor quality. It's all a matter of taste, but we definitely won't use it again.
