I had wanted to try their cuisine for a long time. The aromas, which I always smelled when walking by, reflected the good cuisine I imagined. A last minute decision, I called at 1:30 pm and they assured me a table for 2. The restaurant was full but the table was ready and waiting for us. We started with a platter of gnocchi, tigelle and cured meats. The cured meats were excellent and the homemade gnocchi were, I presume, delicious. An encore of first courses: Gocce Oca Golosa (with Treviso radicchio, speck and poppy seeds) and Bigoli all'Oca Golosa (with sausage, peppers and onion). The bigoli sauce was too acidic for my taste, but everything was delicious. For the second course, a fillet with green pepper, perfectly cooked medium and the meat as tender as butter. To finish... the desserts! Torta della nonna, with cream and pine nuts and cheesecake with berries and coffee. All too good! Very kind, friendly staff, always smiling despite the two floors that are continuously made to serve customers. Prices a little high, but you pay for the taste 😉

L'Oca Golosa is a restaurant in Modena that I have had the opportunity to frequent several times and which offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional cuisine to meat, fish and even pizza. The midday menu is an excellent solution for those who work, with simple and well-balanced proposals. The place is clean and without particular pretensions, perfect for a quick lunch or an informal dinner. Regarding food, both meat and fish are sufficient, without particular peaks but still well prepared. The real highlight is the pizza, really excellent and easily digestible. A tip for those who love strong flavours: the “Oca Golosa” pasta with sausage, peppers and onion is a true explosion of flavour, perfect for those who love robust and tasty dishes, but to be tackled with a stomach ready for the challenge! Overall, a versatile, no-frills restaurant, where you can eat well without spending too much.

Lunch based on fried gnocco and tigelle, accompanied by cured meats and cheeses. Everything was good and of good quality, the service was quite quick.

Regular customers. The gluten-free pizza was good, and the accompanying gluten-free beer was also greatly appreciated. The service is sometimes questionable, almost listless, except for Lele who always stands out with his cheerfulness and hospitality. Cozy place, nice and friendly owner. Takeaway is quick and functional. Very well organized for company/school dinners where the fast and attentive service also stands out.

It was a good experience. The place is large, very cute and well decorated. Indeed the service was a little slow but without errors. Very good pizza and desserts too. All good but nothing exceptional except the environment which for me is the best thing of all.

in collocazione un po' defilata, praticamente sotto a un cavalcavia, è comunque in una posizione relativamente tranquilla, nonostante la non bellissima fama del quartiere. Anche se decisamente migliorato rispetto agli anni scorsi. Purtroppo il locale non dispone di parcheggio suo e occorre cercare per strada. Anche se, essendo in una via secondaria, non abbiamo avuto molti problemi. Ci siamo accomodati in una veranda coperta ben riscaldata da alcuni split, quindi presumiamo siano pure climatizzati per l’estate. L’ambiente è risultato quindi gradevole. Le pizze non sono male. Così come il personale cortese e veloce. Alla fine siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

Accogliente e ben organizzato. Personale cortese e disponibile. Versatile: pizza, menu' di terra (con un occhio di riguardo alla stagionalità e al territorio) e menù di pesce. Adoro i tortelloni di zucca alla Vecchia Modena. Anche il mascarpone non scherza!!

Tutto perfetto, mangiato come al solito. L'unica cosa è che le norme anti Covid sono state ignorate. Alcuni clienti potrebbero non essere contenti.

25/01/2025: The new management is very knowledgeable, attentive to the customer and the renovated place is very nice. The waiting times were a little long, but as it was the first evening of opening, the food was delicious, both the sandwiches with very special burgers, the first courses and also the desserts, all delicious, highly recommended
25/01/2025: The new management brings a breath of fresh air to the restaurant and the menu. Pizzas disappear to make room for more refined dishes. The tagliatelle with ragù follow tradition and are well executed, but the burgers are the real innovation, try "Er chicory" to believe it. If it is true that it is the defects that make us grow, we should note the tasty but greasy fried gnocco, and the too slow service, however forgiven since it is the reopening day! I'm sure it will be better next time! The play area disappears to leave more space for guests.
