Absolutely amazing local experience. Presentation of the dishes, the service and the atmosphere are top notch. The dishes were beautifully balanced - we had seasonal deer and chestnut dishes. Down to earth but feels like a Michelin star meal. Highly recommended! Probably one of the best desserts we have ever tried.

On the recommendation of the Steinkasserer family from the Ansitz Wildberg campsite in Sankt Lorenzo, we went to this restaurant.
After seeing the menu, we weren't sure whether this restaurant would suit our tastes.
The restaurant has a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
But I can only describe the food in two words: simply wow.
This could easily have been a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Definitely recommended, especially if you're tired of the "standard" Italian dishes.
It's a bit more expensive than average; we paid €120 for two people (rounded up).
But as mentioned before, highly recommended. We absolutely don't regret eating here.
And we will definitely be back in the future.

A charming restaurant located just above Brunico, with a traditional atmosphere and waitresses dressed in traditional attire.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious.
I personally think the lavender yogurt cream is one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!

We visited the restaurant on September 5, 2025, with four adults and a toddler. The Oberraut is a top-class restaurant with a wonderful selection of food and wine. The service is very attentive, and our young companion was given priority service, much to his satisfaction. We had a wonderful evening and will gladly visit the Oberraut again on our next trip to the region.

This hotel beautifully reflects traditional Tyrolean style, with one of the most authentic wooden decors in its restaurant and common areas. The atmosphere feels warm and traditional, and the breakfast is exceptionally fresh and enjoyable.
However, guests should be aware that there is an aggressive dog on the property. It has been observed to act threateningly when guests walk toward their rooms or cars, which can make some stays uncomfortable
