Best Neapolitan Pizzeria in Pontedera but I'm forced to give only 3 stars due to the service. It's not acceptable with such a large room to have the room full and only 1 person to take orders, it's not good especially on weekends, there are 3 other guys to bring orders but who obviously don't take deliveries. I'm sorry but the service should be improved also because not everyone is willing to sit for 2 hours for a simple pizza.

We had an appetizer for two (buffalo mozzarella and two crostini with tomato. The photo is missing because we devoured it!), a Zuccona, a Capricciosa and two coffees, water and wine, spending €45. For the quality of the pizza I would say that the price is more than honest. We will definitely be back

We sat down for dinner with 9 people, the service was normal (midweek dinner, very few people, correct waiting times), the pizza menu is very vast, the pizzas are very, very good but I leave 3 stars and not 4 because the prices they seemed excessive: we paid €16.50 for 2 portions of scugnizzi, one of croquettes and one mozzarella in carrozza (all divided by 9) and one pizza per person. All drinks which were paid separately are excluded from this €16.50. So 16.50 for a pizza and less than half a fried appetizer... will it be too much?

The best pizza in the area, seems to be in Naple... service is ok as well... the real problem is about the noisy dining room. When full of people, the echoing does not allow to hear the person in front of you. Mbuttunata pizza is amazing!!!

Allora, mettiamola così: se volete mangiare una ottima pizza napoletana in zona Pisa e dintorni, non avete scampo. Questa la pizzeria giusta. Al livello di un'ottima pizza napoletana mangiata a napoli ... a tratti anche migliore. Consiglio: non fatevi ingannare dalla cameriera che tenta sempre di piazzarvi un antipasto italiano a base di zeppole, panzerotti, mozzarella in carrozza e frittatine di maccheroni. Il rischio è di non avere poi abbastanza spazio per la pizza!!! Chi critica questa pizza non capisce nulla di pizza. Detto da un napoletano...

12/01/2025: Passing through Castello di Lari, we stopped... Comfortable 80's atmosphere... excellent food... Pappardelle with wild boar and baked lamb... Fast service... Friendly staff... Excellent final price... Excellent quality... If I'm in that area I'll go back

15/12/2024: The environment is very welcoming, the girls are kind and attentive. We were a little perplexed because we asked for the paper menu but we were told that they will tell us orally, okay, since we write a lot of reviews it has never happened to us that we don't have a menu in hand or a QR code to be able to also compare the prices, however we trusted ourselves, the first thing we noticed was that the times were pleasantly extended, no rush in serving tables or frenzy, then we noticed that 90% of the customers were of a rather high average age and of citizenship Italian, surprised us because in that location near the Arno there is usually a crowd of foreign tourists. Anyway to make a long story short, the food was really good and of very good quality, the tiramisu very good. Prices in line with restaurants of this level. For us it's a big yes. We recommend it. Book early.
