A small but comfortable restaurant. The seaside village setting, with Castel dell'Ovo in the background, speaks for itself. The fish is fresh and well-cooked. Good value. Reservations are recommended. Recommended.

A lovely family-run trattoria with authentic cuisine and friendly service. The octopus salad is tender, the fried alici are delicious, the spaghetti vongole is excellent, and the octopus alla Lucia with its very tasty sauce is excellent.

09/11/2025: I hadn't been to this pizzeria for over twenty years. Excellent thin pizza, well cooked in the traditional wood-fired oven, well-seasoned and easy to eat. Not stringy like many others, very tasty, quick and courteous service, no-frills, clean and welcoming. Reasonable prices, try it.

Trattoria Medusa - Da Kamel

14/02/2026: What a memorable culinary experience. The restaurant was recommended by my sales person at Loro Piana in Taormina. It appears the restaurant is family ran - great hosts. The Antipasti, Fried Squids, and all the courses. The whole grilled bass accompanied by salad, I ate it all. The desert “BABA AL RUM” - what a treat. I will be returning to La Medusa Restaurant.
10/02/2026: Perfect spot , great food , but really excellent, and huuge portions. Very friendly staff.
