O Sole Mio In Bologna

Each time we are in Bologna we visit this place. The food is great and the atmosphere is second to none. Wonderful place!

Very good restaurant, we received excellent service. The pizza is individual but quite large. My husband had fried calamari and salad. We also ordered anchovies as an appetizer. Everything was delicious and the price was fair.

A friend and I had pizza here together. Even late at night, the service was still friendly and energetic. The food was delicious and inexpensive. A lovely family-run business, top-notch!

A good pizza, but above all a very fast and friendly service, which allowed me to see the show at the nearby Teatro Duse even though I only had 45 minutes and the place was full: congratulations! The place could use a little modernisation.

My friend and I split pasta and a pizza, and both were delicious. The server was also very sweet. Unfortunately, the older woman at the cash ruined the entire experience. When we went to pay, a man was ordering and paid by card. When I told her we'd be paying by card she said "no cash?" and answered the phone without any sort of "one moment please", leaving my friend and I confused due to our admittedly limited Italian. When she finished the call, we told her we had no cash and she gave a huffy sigh and handed us the machine. The bills she tossed on the counter without even looking in our direction. If it weren't for her, we would happily have returned to the restaurant during our stay in Bologna as we stayed very close by. The stars we gave are exclusively for the food and our very nice server.

Pizzeria used as a strategic refreshment point near the Duse Theater, before a show. I must admit that the service was kind and prompt as I advised at the start that we had a certain need and they accommodated us and made us sit even though the place was almost full. It is an old-fashioned place managed by experienced staff, who become concrete in their maneuvers and relationships with the public, but in our case correct and friendly. The ordered pizza arrived in 15/20 minutes while the drinks were already on the table after 5 minutes. The average level, in relation to other realities, is basic, there is no research into presentation or anything else but the pizza was of medium good taste. The prices are normal, the bathroom is not very well kept but functional. If necessary we will return with less hesitation.

Una certezza. Da un po' non ci venivo e ho rivisto con grande piacere i proprietari e il pizzaiolo. Pizze sempre ottime come le ricordavo.😊

Proprio sotto i portici inizio di via castiglione direzione centro, nessuna pretesa, ma pizza buona Una pizza un piatto di gnocchi anche esso buono verdure grigliate, acqua vino caffe 33 euro onestissino Passateci. La pizza non male.!!
