O' Munaciello In Napoli

Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly! We came back for the second time and will come again.

This trattoria-pizzeria is located in the heart of Naples, right across from the Church of the Gesù, in an excellent location with tables right on the piazza. The pizza is good and offers a wide variety of options. I also tried the seafood scialatielli and found them to be truly delicious. I was also pleased with the quantity and prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm 100% satisfied and will definitely be back.

We ate there several times, both pasta and fish. The fried food was good and light... the shrimp were cleaned properly. The price and quality were average. We'll be back.

Beautiful place on the square, nice seating. We had pizza and risotto. Both very good. First impression was great and the waiter was attentive and pleasant. As soon as they brought us the food, we finished for them, they didn't bring us the next drink we ordered, we waited 35 minutes before someone came to us again and they really made significant eye contact - they were watching football in front of the restaurant. The chefs are perfect, it's a shame that the service spoils it for them. We definitely wouldn't go back. I'm surprised that the owner obviously doesn't care, because according to the reviews, it's really the stumbling block of this restaurant

Very good. I had al dente pasta with a very good sauce. From what I saw, the pizzas looked quite decent. I'm leaving now, otherwise I would have tried them.

The young waitress clearly wasn't interested in providing good service. A shame. It was good.

At Munaciello, you'll find a warm welcome and good food, from pizza to catering, excellent fish soup, and a superb selection of wines. You can eat outside in Piazza del Gesù or in the cozy interior. I highly recommend it. I reiterate my previous review of Munaciello, which is always top-notch...

I personally see no reason at all for the under 4 stars rating this place has. Someone recommended it to me. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the rating, but I decided to walk over and try it anyway, based partially on some specific reviews I'd read. The service was totally fine. There was nothing at all I needed that I didn't have. 2 different people helped me throughout my visit. They both spoke English which I couldn't in all fairness require of them, but it was definitely helpful, especially after a long frazzling travel day from another region of Italy. The pizza came out quickly. It was very good, and obviously huge (see photo). I got the "Napoletana doc." I'm a vegetarian, so I wouldn't have gotten meat, but I also usually want something plain when I'm looking to really taste pizza properly. It was exactly as it should be, and at a fair price. The Arogonese Vari gusti dessert (also pictured) was quite good too. I chose the Pistacchio. I ate in the outside area, which I prefer. It's set up nicely. No complaints. Dine here.

Pizza was good and overall good value. Bonus for gluten free options. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. Would recommend as good option for gluten free eaters in Napoli
