The best restaurant in Gressoney where you can never go wrong in any season. The dishes are truly impeccable, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the second courses and the desserts are of high quality pastry. The tagliolini with porcini mushrooms are the best I've ever eaten in 35 years!

The only flaw was an unpleasant discussion in the kitchen between the staff that we all had to hear in the room.

Fixed stop for dinner when we come to Gressoney. The place is entirely made of wood, in a mountain style but modern, beautiful and welcoming. Attentive and discreet service. Exceptional dishes, both modern and refined and traditional from the Aosta Valley. Large selection of wines. Cost proportionate to how much eaten and to the place, in the center of Gressoney Saint Jean. First course, second course, dessert and glass of wine for around 65 euros each. Highly recommended.

Always impeccable! We always come every time we are in Gressoney Saint Jean. Excellent dishes, both traditional and modern. The desserts are delicious! Attentive service and a beautiful place in the center of the town. Appropriate cost for the type of venue.
Two first courses, two second courses, two desserts and two glasses of Aosta Valley red wine around €130.
We will be back, as always!

Tappa fissa a cena quando veniamo a Gressoney. Locale interamente in legno, in stile montano ma moderno, bellissimo e accogliente. Servizio attento e discreto. Piatti eccezionali, sia moderni e ricercati sia della tradizione valdostana. Ampia selezione di vini. Costo proporzionato a quanto mangiato e al posto, in pieno centro di Gressoney Saint Jean. Primo, secondo, dolce e calice di vino a circa 65 euro a testa. Consigliatissimo.

Veniamo sempre ogni volta che siamo a Gressoney Saint Jean. Piatti ottimi, sia tradizionali che moderni. Buonissimi i dolci! Servizio attento e posto bellissimo in pieno centro del paese. Costo adeguato al tipo di locale.
Due primi, due secondi, due dolci e due calici di rosso valdostano circa 130€.

Average between excellent food and beautiful location and the atmosphere created inside which is quite unpleasant (you feel as if you are doing yourself a favor and you eat feeling in awe). Very poor service. Even though we had booked, 7 of us (including 3 children) with half a room free, we were crowded into a table of 6 resulting in everyone eating uncomfortable (I imagine that there were still 7 seats even though in all honesty they are not the ones who had an impact on account).
It's a shame because the dishes are really very good and the prices are consistent with the quality of the offerings.
