Nordkapp In Gressoney-saint-jean

I've been coming to Gressoney since I was a child, and since I've been working, I've treated myself to at least one dinner at Nordkapp every season. Undoubtedly the best restaurant in the valley, prices are a bit higher than average, but it's definitely worth it. Every dish is tasty, balanced, and perfect. See you this winter! 😊

I've been to Nordkapp many times and I think it's the absolute best in all of Gressoney. The quality of the dishes is top-notch, and the wine list, both local and international, is excellent. The place is very welcoming; the wooden decor, the beautiful stove, and the photographs on the walls immerse you in a true Alpine experience. The manager who serves the tables has always been very courteous and helpful; we can't wait to return!

Best restaurant in Gressoney-Saint-Jean. Refined dishes, excellent waitresses always available, the only flaw is the wine list, which could be improved. The star dish, venison with polenta, is a must-try...incredible! A special mention goes to the rabbit tuna appetizer...amazing. My favorite first course, gnocchi with garlic, but all of them are good. You spend a little more, but you'll eat much better!

Located in the center of town, this restaurant is very cute and welcoming. The dishes are truly delicious and beautiful to look at. The service and table settings could be improved slightly, perhaps with a tablecloth placed lengthwise on the wooden tables. The cutlery placed directly on the wooden table isn't ideal. Recommended anyway.

I had dinner at NordKapp last night with my husband. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and every detail seems to have been carefully selected, from the natural wood walls to the soft lighting. Even the background music was extremely pleasant and subtle. The service was impeccable, attentive, professional, and never intrusive; both the owner and the waitress were truly kind, smiling, and helpful. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: creative and traditional dishes made with the highest-quality ingredients and a truly remarkable level of preparation and passion. Each course is a journey through authentic mountain flavors, presented with taste and refinement. From the appetizers (special mention for the vitello tonnato, I've never eaten anything so good in my life), to the meats (we didn't use a knife; the cooking made both the veal and venison incredibly tender), to the desserts, everything was impeccable. The wine list was also excellent. Thank you so much to NordKapp for this experience!!!! Highly recommended.
