Every time we go to Basilicata, it's a regular stop, and it never disappoints. The restaurant's highlight is the spade (spade). Each one is better than the last, though for my personal taste, the bombette (a kind of fried pork shoulder) is the best. The antipasto, gli sfizi di Nonnandò, consists of five typical Lucanian specialties, which vary from time to time, and are cooked just like grandma used to make. Everything is excellent, even the desserts, and the staff is always quick and attentive, even when the place is full. We can't wait to return, although unfortunately we'll have to wait until next year.

If you're on the road to Tursi or visiting the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Anglona, ​​eating at Nonnandò is a must! A typical "country inn" with a facelift. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. In short, a well-deserved 4-star rating.

I should preface this by saying that I speak as a professional in the industry. As for the food, it was all excellent and the flavors well-balanced. The flaw that ultimately ruined everything was the slow and inaccurate service. 1 I booked and didn't find a table ready, so a makeshift table was prepared on the spot. 2 Our order came 30 minutes after we sat down, and no one came over to ask if we wanted a bottle of water. 3 After our order was taken, the appetizers arrived almost immediately (and it's understandable that they're already prepared, of course, since they require preparation), but the problem was that they arrived before the drinks and bread (the bread never arrived even though the waiter told me he'd get it). 4 The food was excellent, as mentioned above. 5 We ordered a dessert, two coffees, a grappa, and a liqueur, clearly asking if they could bring everything together. However, the dessert arrived first, followed by just one coffee, and then the liqueur and grappa. Having said that, I recommend going to those who want to eat well because the cuisine is truly excellent with contrasting flavors and exceptional tradition, but don't even consider the service because otherwise you'll want to get up and leave.

If I had 1,000 stars, I think I would have used them all! The warmth of the restaurant, the tasty and authentic food, and the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff make this place special. After dining there one evening, you'll definitely want to return to savor those delicious flavors again. If your stay in Basilicata was wonderful, it's also thanks to you! Thank you!

Let me start by saying we didn't order meat, but appetizers, side dishes, and pizza. The dishes were all very good, with generous portions, and a focus on gluten-free options. Ms. Marika, the waiter, was truly excellent, kind, and knowledgeable. One point that could be improved is the photos; they don't do justice to the restaurant's size and aesthetics.

The appetizers and desserts were good, I expected something better on the grilled meats.
