Found by chance due to a business trip, it was a super pleasant surprise, so much so that we stopped for both lunch and dinner... super varied menu that pleases everyone with excellent quality products... pay attention to the portions which are super generous... the owners and the staff also know how to make diners feel at home... highly recommended

Our first dinner in Milan couldn't have been better. From the very beginning, the chef took the thoughtful step of personally explaining the menu to us, as we don't speak Italian. Thanks to his patience and recommendations, we were able to choose the perfect dishes, and everything was delicious. He also surprised us with a complimentary salad that was absolutely delicious, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The octopus was spectacular: perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The food was excellent, but what truly made the experience special was the chef's warmth and hospitality. Without a doubt, it's a place we would return to and highly recommend.

We seen this on trip advisor and it was honestly the best meal we had in Milan. We went in for lunch on a hot day and immediately wished we had gone for dinner. It’s small (I would recommend booking if possible) we were lucky and got a table for two. We shared a starter and had an amazing bowl of pasta each (they brought along pickled veg - which was delicious) we had water and soda’s and it was less than €50. For the quality it was worth it. We paid a lot more for much worse in Milan. When we are next in Milan we will be returning (probably on an evening as it looked a beautiful place to enjoy dinner/wine)

Absolutely great food! First coming in we weren’t too sure but the chef rattled off his specials and everything we ordered was amazing!! Our pasta was truly some of the best we’ve had on our month long trip. Cute place that wasn’t very touristy.

We arrived at the opening hours, so we caught the owner or head chef. He was really knowledgeable and a nice person. Noted us that never order Amarone in a restaurant, you will get ripped off. We got a nice valpolicella ripasso to go with the meal. I had lasagna that was just to die for, can’t recommend it enough. A solid 4.5/5. For mains, I had veal tongue. I’ve never had it before so I took a chance with it. I was NOT disappointed. I got a solid platter of veal tongue with pesto, and it just melted in the mouth. I hate dishes that have unnecessary carbs in them, so this was a really good main dish. I also had tiramisu, which was exquisite. So on overall food was excellent, albeit just a tad pricy with the wine. Would recommend!

A beautiful little restaurant in Milan's Isola neighborhood, with outdoor seating on the street and exceptional food. The only downside is that the food tends to be good but very heavy; no one at the table managed to finish their plate, even though we did order a substantial appetizer first.

We visited La Posteria di Nonna Papera on our last night in Italy before heading back to Australia and we were very glad that we did. We enjoyed authentic local dishes and wine with highlights being the Bruschette Miste, Bruschette alla Toscana and the Angus ai Fungi Porcini served on a sizzle hot plate. The service from the owner and staff was excellent who went out of their way to ensure our night was memorable.
