Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. A la Carte Dinner. Sat inside at 9:30. Tables are very closely packed together so hard to have intimate conversation. Waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. They allow half portions of items which is a great way to try more. Cacio e Pepe was good. Ordered carbonara off menu which was great. Best pasta was Amitriciana. Meatballs are fine, sauce is great but not worth it. Tiramisu was better dessert than semifreddo

We did the wine tasting with food pairing and we had such a great time. We loved all the wines and the food pairing was delicious. Also a special mention to the staff who made it such a lovely experience! Would highly recommend if you’re in Rome!

Amazing place, the real deal... Real Italian (roman!) and incredible delicious food. A place to come back over and over again!

Went on a recommendation from a local.
Perhaps because I was a solo diner , they didn’t really offer anything beyond the basic , serving my food but never inquiring if everything was satisfactory. The tomato salad that they served was far too much for one person and I would not have ordered had I known.
Overall, a sadly disappointing experience.

We took the cooking class with the wine paring lunch afterwards. It was an absolutely magnificent experience.
Chef Francesco was a great teacher, and the sommelier Marloes did amazing work with the wine. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable, profesional, warm, and fun during the whole process.
If you want to do as the Romans do…then this is for you.

It was probably our mistake to have high expectations and we didn't meet them. The place was lovely, the food was good. But maybe we weren't able to communicate because the person who was supposed to advise us on the wines just filled our wine glasses without any explanation. We'll try to make ourselves understood next time.

A friend recommended doing the Wine & Food Tasting Dinner at Rimessa Roscioli. We arrived and were taken down to the wine cellar in the basement of the restaurant. A quaint space with table settings for 10 for our seating. As the rest of the attendees filtered in conversation was flowing.
The food was very good, 6-courses of small plates. I'm not a fan of fish, one of the courses was a swordfish that I tried. Didn't hate it, but didn't like it enough to finish it. Each course was well paired with a wine.
The wines were great as well, unfortunately the fifth of my six glasses had a couple of small pieces of the cork floating in it. So I left it mostly undrank. While I didn't complain, Lindsey, the host and house sommelier didn't ask about it either.
As for Lindsey, I was incredibly unimpressed by her. She opened the evening with a little bit about how the dinner would progress. She then went on to say that she doesn't like the snobbery in the wine industry. The following 90 minutes or so were spent with her recounting her history with wine and being snobby about it in the very stereotypical wine-snob way. My favorite quote of the evening was when she said, "if you can drink the cheap stuff, keep drinking it until you can't anymore. Once you get hooked on the good stuff it's so hard to go back."
I would love to recommend this tasting dinner to others. However, I can only do so if you aren't the type of person that simply enjoys a glass of wine with your dinner.

this was our first dinner stop in Rome and it set the bar high! all of our food was lovely and well portioned. the service was also excellent - particularly the knowledgable sommelier who helped us select the most perfect bottle of wine.
