Nishiku' Valmaura In Trieste

I ate very well, and the quality/price ratio was truly excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the tables are well-spaced, a welcome detail because it provides more privacy. The only downside was the wait times, which were a bit long between courses. I don't think this was the waiters' fault; on the contrary, they were always kind and helpful; I rather felt that the staff was understaffed for the number of people. Despite this, I would definitely return!

We ate both à la carte and all-you-can-eat. Lately, it seems they've been shortening the all-you-can-eat menu. A little pricey in the evening, and some waiters seem to find asking for something a nuisance.

Like its main location on Via Cassa di Risparmio, this one is truly fantastic!!! The food is delicious and tasty, beautifully and carefully plated, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for your work! ❤️

The food is very good, the service is not long in coming, the atmosphere was the best thing

This place still holds up very well. It has that modern fusion atmosphere that now seems almost vintage in Trieste, having been among the first to open outside the city center and the Rive. And, rare, it doesn't rely on its profits. The quality is consistent, the prices are fair, and the cooking is fast, precise, and reliable. The udon noodles with vegetables and shrimp are among the most successful dishes: flavorful, juicy, well-made, and without that sad, badly boiled noodle feeling that sometimes occurs elsewhere. It's also a pleasure to see groups and extended families opening and sharing bottles of wine in an environment more accustomed to sake, Asian beers, and jasmine tea. It's a little off-the-wall, but it works. You're guaranteed a good time here, and over time, you'll want to try half the menu, then the other half. Sometimes, especially with à la carte orders, a few small oversights can happen, but the people working there clearly work hard, and it shows. A solid place, without unnecessary posturing, where you eat well and are happy to return.

I suggest adding a changing table to the bathroom

Everything was sublime! From the service to the food. It's now a regular stop for me with friends. Update after two years: I don't know what happened, but something has changed. 45 minutes for a dish is not a problem. The waiters don't even speak Italian and can't help you with anything. I think I'll change locations.
