Niniva In Almè

I discovered Niniva during a lunch with friends on the shores of Lake Como. The host hired them for a catering service, and it was a truly pleasant surprise. The quality of the dishes is unquestionable: the high-end ingredients used are excellent, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Among the various gourmet dishes we tasted, all featuring shellfish, the ravioli with shellfish bisque deserves a special mention. The dessert, tiramisu, deserves a special mention. This dessert is notoriously the most popular in the world, and unfortunately, its popularity means that we often encounter mediocre, if not downright questionable, products. This was not the case with Niniva's tiramisu, which, despite respecting the traditional recipe, was unanimously deemed by all diners to be extraordinary. The table service was discreet yet attentive, professional yet unpretentious. A truly wonderful experience.

Excellent place for delicious aperitifs, to celebrate occasions such as birthdays, graduation parties and for business lunches... I recommend it.

A beautiful place to spend an evening with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted. The aperitifs are excellent, with well-crafted drinks and a truly interesting wine selection. The place also holds its own at lunchtime, with several delicious options.

Of course, having the rag run over my feet while I was drinking and chatting wasn't the best, but otherwise it was fine. (I didn't try the food, but I didn't want to lower my average.)

A quality lounge bar, both in terms of its decor (with indoor and outdoor seating) and its food. The aperitif appetizers are delicious, and they also have an excellent selection of international cocktails and gins. Disappointed by the limited variety on the dessert menu; they weren't particularly tasty either. Attentive and professional service. Prices are a bit higher than average. The music isn't too loud.

Really nice place, elaborate and tasty drinks, rich aperitif absolutely worth trying!
