Vengo spesso , avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione ma è accogliente. Puoi. Chiacchierare come se fossi s casa tua. Il menù ha pochi piatti, tutti tipici e “antichi”. In genere ho mangiato, ma questo piatto completo era pasticciato, parmigiana e caponata troppo “unte”.

It's an institution! Well, actually, it's a nice alternative, and as the name suggests, politically left leaning pub on a side street in Catania, next to lots of baroque churches and monasteries. How appropriate?!😊👍😊 I got the idea for going there for a drink from Rick Steves Sicily guidebook. Unfortunately, I was there way too early to observe any crowds. They don't come in until at least 21h or later.

02/01/2025: A good place with warm atmosphere. I ate a delicious Angus burger and fresh potatoes with a glass of Etna Rosso produced by them. I want to go back to taste the Goulash, which is part of the so-called Beer dishes and, finally, I highly recommend the Millefeuille as a dessert (their strong point). Highly recommended for an intimate dinner or with friends.
29/12/2024: Cozy, well kept and sophisticated. Excellent selection of wines. Exquisite appetizers. Personally, the pizza has too much crust but still excellent in terms of cooking, taste and authenticity. The TOP desserts‼️ The staff is professional and very kind! Everyone was friendly and a special thank you for the hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness of Antonio, who has been part of the entourage for many years. I will return with pleasure
