HISTORIC pub. If you've never had a beer at Nicola's or a cocktail, you're probably not from Lucca. Nicola exudes energy to EVERYONE. His entire staff, everyone who comes through the door. Ambience 5*, staff 5*, sandwiches 5*, and if I've forgotten anything, it's on the 5* list. For 5* beer lovers. I love the scent of mint and the 5* Mojito.

A very special pub. A dive into the past. Relics of a bygone era (the 80s and 90s) that have remained in everyone's hearts. Excellent beer and super sandwiches. Fair prices.

What can I say... I decided two days before to celebrate my birthday there, and Nicola was fantastic. We booked in advance, and since we were a group of 25, he handled everything with extraordinary kindness, and whenever we were letting loose, he was there ready to turn up the music for us. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the female staff at the bar were incredibly kind and professional. We drank, laughed, danced, and blew out the candles at midnight. Top!

05/04/2026: Bagno Viareggio, next to the dock. Easter lunch with a dedicated menu featuring a single appetizer, a choice of three first courses, and two second courses. Small kitchen but a skilled chef. Two appetizers, one first course, one second course, two glasses of wine, and water. A children's menu of pasta with tomato sauce and French fries included €109, considering it was Easter. The food was honest and, above all, everything was delicious. The atmosphere was under construction but discreet, right on the beach. There were a few tables under the veranda, others outside, but overall, it was okay. The excellent food played a major role: the fish steak was truly excellent and a nice, generous plate (in the photo, I had already taken a couple of bites). I tried the red mullet paccheri, which were also delicious.

02/07/2026: Such an amazing experience!When we got here our taxi driver told us we have good taste and that this is one of the top restaurants in the area,and it was,for sure.The terrace features a vintage chic atmosphere,the stuff is so nice,kind and polite.The food is exceptional and miexes perfectly the flavours,especially the umami taste.
