Nicola and his staff went over and above when we were there. Nicola offered to cook dinner for us our second night. He asked our likes and interests and prepared a variety of regional dishes in small plate style. It was delicious! The waitress went over and above and helped us call for early morning taxis in the evening since we had struggled getting a taxi on some critical mornings. Try their pizza. Ask Nicola about his pizza dough recipe!! Enjoy your time there … whether just an Aperitif, coffee and desert, or a multi course Italian meal in casual atmosphere.

The staff is kind. We booked for New Year's Eve, the place was crowded, small tables, too many for the available space. The food was brought very fast, one after another, like they wanted us to go away quickly. At one point we did not finish the second dish, we ate slowly, and guess what.. they brought us the final plate (fish) and left it on the table. We did not manage to stay until midnight as we felt kind of rushed out. Will not came back again and can't recommend

A wonderful discovery at Nicola’s Pizzeria Ristorante. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but what a delight once you sit down! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The pizzas are simply exceptional—probably among the best I've ever had—with absolutely delicious mozzarella di bufala campana. The seafood and fish dishes were also excellent. A great place to remember for our next visits to this charming city.

A few days in Bologna and a wonderful surprise on the last day, otherwise we would have come back many more times. Exquisite service, delicious food, and Chiara was very friendly and kind. A delightful place and highly recommended.

07/02/2026: Huge and truly delicious pizzas. Many varieties, prompt and accurate service. Only two points for improvement: 1) A system should be found to reduce background noise from diners. 2) Replace the knives with those suitable for pizza, i.e., serrated knives.
