Nevodi In Venezia

This restaurant was a recommendation from a friend, and we were delighted to find out it was right across from where we were staying in Venice. We came at night, and although it was full inside, the manager kindly invited us to sit outside while waiting for a table. His warm and attentive approach set the tone for a wonderful evening. The menu offered great options, and together with my partner we started with two pasta dishes. I had the fragola pasta, which was absolutely delicious—warm, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend chose the ravioli with ragù, also incredibly tasty and rich. For our main, we shared the braciola, which was a generous portion. The potatoes on the side were perfectly cooked and had a touch of ’nduja, adding an extra layer of flavor that we loved. The manager even suggested the ravioli, and he was absolutely right! Our waiter (a friendly man with a big beard) was attentive, polite, and genuinely kind, making the experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that on our last day in Venice, before heading to the airport, we came back for lunch! 100% recommended — excellent wine, delicious food, amazing desserts, and most importantly (something rare to find in Venice): outstanding service.

Nevodi is our absolute favorite restaurant in Venice. Great food and wine at reasonable prices. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You feel like you're dining with friends. Insider tip: be sure to reserve a table in the back room.

The four of us (!) managed to get a table spontaneously because the waiter was so nice and organized everything. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent, too! Everyone was very stressed because the place was completely packed, but they were still friendly and helpful!

The best red tuna I have ever tried!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. We couldn't fault the service, food nor wine! Every dishes was cooked to perfection and we left a very happy family. I'd recommend booking in advance as they seem to always be busy!

Super restaurant, top quality fish, delicious

Unfortunately Nevodi was not for us. Too loud, chaotic, too many servers running around, and the food quality was so so. We reserved way ahead, and were seated next to the computer terminal the staff use, there was always someone behind us doing something, and it was a table for two that had a chair added to make it for three, we felt actually penalized for reserving way ahead instead of rewarded. We were served by 4-5 different people who dropped off various dishes, no explanations given for the dishes of course. Lasagna verde did not have much flavor, and a pasty texture. Other dishes not remarkable. Octopus was the best dish we had, and it was pretty good. Overall, we can see the restaurant is going for a "vibe" of being hip, cool, modern, and happening, and they purposefully encourage a level of noise and chaos going on because that is their vibe. The restaurant and servers are pretty impressed with their own level of hipness and up-to-the-minute style, ugh. Some people will like that, but we didn't.
