The place isn't very nice, the tables are cramped, and—on a rainy Tuesday evening—it's overly crowded. The service is informal but absolutely efficient. We tried fried baby octopus, crispy and flavorful, and two first courses: spaghetti with clams, flavorful and creamy, and pici with grouper, olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes...this one was truly delicious! We finished with crème caramel and lemon sorbet. Generous portions and a fair price. For those who value substance, this is truly a great alternative to the more well-known seafood restaurants.

A truly excellent experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, one of those places where you wouldn't expect to find such fresh seafood and such meticulously prepared cuisine. The raw fish is excellent, incredibly fresh, delicate, and beautifully presented. The main courses are delicious, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients, but the real stars are the first courses: the pasta with clams was simply incredible, flavorful, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. A must-visit and highly recommended.

A restaurant for seafood delicacies, fresh and delicious. Not too expensive – not cheap either – but absolutely worth the price.
And those who like a touristy vibe can choose from restaurants in the city center near the sights.
But those who really enjoy good food right in Rome can be a little more selective and look for places where locals also go.
With this in mind, we found the Nerone Pesce restaurant and tried it (several times).
This cozy restaurant is a bit off the beaten track but still easy to reach. Take the B1 metro (Jonio) to Conca d'Oro – from there, the restaurant is only a 400m/5-minute walk away.
A small, unobtrusive restaurant with a pleasant interior and a similarly sized covered and wind-protected outdoor area.
You'll receive a friendly welcome and good daily recommendations for both the food and accompanying drinks. The raw fish that came to the table as an appetizer was a real treat. And the main courses were equally good quality.
The fish and lobster we tried were fresh and high-quality. Good, complementary wines are also available – without breaking the bank.
And when it comes to the execution on the plate, it's fair to say that the chef in the kitchen is a master in his field.
To round off the meal, I suggest trying the house-made tiramisu for dessert.
All in all, a truly "highly recommended" from me – and a big thank you to the restaurant management and staff.

Dining here is always a fantastic experience! The fish is top-quality, expertly cooked, and served with attention.
A special thanks to Francesco, a tireless resource and the true driving force behind Nerone: his passion and dedication are reflected in every detail.
A place you'll always be happy to return to!
