It is a nice place, but not for the price, at least for lunch.
The venue is cozy and intimate, and it seems like it's a one-man show, where the owner does everything. He's really welcoming and seems to be having fun.
However, everything is served in a cardboard/paper plate which simply doesn't look professional. We didn't want to judge the food solely by it, but if there's no dishwasher, you bet there's no kitchen. Everything was reheated. It wasn't bad at all, it was good, my truffle pasta was a bit oily, but that's normal when you reheat sauces. Even if the owner says the pasta is prepared by the "best restaurants in Florence", it is still just microwave pasta, which is unacceptable for the price, even in a bistro. I've paid the same in fancy-ish trattorias next to the cathedral.
Maybe it's different if you're looking for wine and meat boards, since those are freshly cut by the owner. But if you're looking for pasta, the price is simply not worth it. If it was cheaper, it'd be a great place.
Again, the owner is very nice and quick and it really seems like he's doing his best.

It is a place with the vibe of a small bistrot, very familiar, casual. The food is served on paper plates. It is only one man and his son sometimes.
But the food is out of this world.
The best food with superb quality i tasted in florence. Thank you 🙏🏽

We have visited more than 4 restaurants in Italy, and this place is one of our favorites. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the mezzelune, felt very local. Thank you for everything.

The shop owner is particularly enthusiastic and kind~ Their carefully selected wine pairing with Italian food is simply the finishing touch! The owner allowed us to taste many of their own wines for free; we hope to visit their restaurant again next time we go back to Florence!

We expected a lot but the salad beat everything... super fresh, super tasty, a real treat. The pasta was also great and the pear and cheese starter was a delight with the fresh bread on the side. We also enjoyed the house wine. Keep it up and we wish you many guests. The plates are made of cardboard but if the concept is like that I can live with it.....🥳

Available for drinks only around 1pm.
The staff was very friendly and I felt very comfortable even just having a drink.
My husband had a lemonade and I had two Tuscan wines, a white and a rose. I received a snack that looked like an appetizer, but it was not charged.
I asked for ice for the lemonade.
It was perfect for a break from sightseeing.
I would have loved to eat there if I had the chance.

I visited a charming bistro today, where the entire experience is handled by a single person who takes orders and prepares the food. The service was excellent; the person was super polite, happy, and fun. I had lasagna bolognese, burrata, and mezzalune con funghi champignon e tartufo fresco. The food was okay, but the warm and welcoming service made the visit worthwhile.

We were in Florence for 4 days before we found this quaint unassuming perfect spot for wine and snacks. There is an extensive wine list with other drink selections. It is cozy and charming. We loved it! It is small but we were surrounded by Italians so we knew we picked a perfect spot. The owner was very accommodating.

During my very short stay in Florence I had dinner twice at this cozy place. I was visiting the city solo and felt very at ease in this bistrot.
The owners are very kind and make you feel welcomed. English spoken.
Excellent food. I had salad one day and tartar the other. I recommend both.
Funny enough, on Sunday I met two other women dining solo, too, and one of them came for the same reasons I did: to eat the tartar and feeling relaxed.
