A very charming and well-maintained restaurant, conveniently located for those traveling from Modena to Parma. For appetizers, I enjoyed the truly unique hummus and the delicious, crispy fried gnocco.
My favorite dish was the Parmesan risotto with balsamic vinegar, served in a Parmesan crust: simply exceptional.
The desserts were also excellent: tartlets with custard, chocolate cake, and Barozzi cake, all truly exquisite.
Friendly staff, elegant atmosphere, and excellent value. Highly recommended.

It's a shame the dishes were served cold.
The ricotta and spinach was barely lukewarm, but good.
The apple tart was served cold. After asking for it to be reheated, it was served again, presumably after being microwaved and rendered inedible.

We chose the Nero Balsamico Restaurant in Modena for our Christmas lunch and were delighted. The set menu was balanced, rich but not heavy, with dishes that showcased tradition and the quality of the ingredients. The professional service and elegant atmosphere were ideal for an important occasion.
