Giant fortress that must have been a pain in the butt to maintain and build back in the day. Walking through the inside and thinking about the life that would have been lived inside was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was some kind of event going on so there was a lot of setup equipment around the entire place. Still worth seeing nonetheless.

A very nice castle. You can visit the inside yard for free and the interior can be visited for only 5 €. For the main tower there was another ticket but we didn't go.

ENTRY to the museums is FREE every first Sunday of the month—go early to beat the lines. Massive and impressive fortress with several museums inside. Great for history lovers! The courtyard is free and great for a peaceful break.

02/06/2025: The atmosphere of the place is delightful, the garden furnished and lit in a really pleasant way (apart from the plastic flowers ... really a fall from grace). We ate very well, some dishes really excellent (the flambéed lobster or the matcha and chocolate dessert), others not memorable, but above all we had great availability from the kitchen to add orders or make small changes to the dishes - also thanks to a very quiet evening with few tables occupied. Juri was attentive and discreet, we appreciated the service very much.
24/05/2025: I went for dinner. Invited to a birthday party. Everything was excellent, food, wines, atmosphere, kindness and professionalism of the staff
