The place is well-kept and managed by a beautiful and friendly lady who knows the hospitality profession, kind and attentive, she recommends her delicacies
The buffet is very rich, there are baked panzerotti, ready to heat in the microwave, a wide range of dry biscuits and cakes
We obviously choose the fried ones, which are made on the spot based on your choice
I start with a classic, mozzarella and tomato like the calzone that is made in Salento, then I want to try one with ‘nduja, scamorza and tomato
My colleague goes for spicy and with broccoli and sausage
They arrive already cut in half, in Salento they would shoot you, but I think they do it to present them well and to let them cool a bit, it's okay, it's fine
When bitten I notice a strange, but pleasant external crunchiness of the leavened dough, which adds a little sweetness to the dough, but that doesn't it bothers me, I immediately realize that they were passed in breadcrumbs before going to fry, I have to say that it was a pleasant variation on our calzones, which however has its reasons, first of all you don't find them everywhere and if you love them as much as I do, or find the Salento pizza chef who works in Florence in my favorite restaurant, L'Antica trattoria dell'Oca, who makes them for you, otherwise you have to come to Salento
Let's take another round to finish the good beer, I take the one with escarole, very very good and my colleague a super seasoned one
We get up to pay and wonder how to end the lunch, a dry fig dessert, it would go, then the lady recommends sweet fried panzerotti, knowing that she has already won she soon knows our answer, with cream, he with Nutella
These too fried on the spot, sugared on the rind, shame about the cold cream, but they were also remarkable in the sweet version
An excellent branded coffee, unusual to find around, given the cost, to close all

Il mio collega c’è già stato e sapendo che sono Salentino, mi inviata a mangiare in un posto dove fanno panzerotti
Il locale è ben curato e gestito da una bella e simpatica signora che conosce il mestiere dell’ospitalità, gentile ed attenta, ti consiglia le sue prelibatezze
Il buffet è molto ricco, ci sono panzerotti al forno, già pronti che ti riscalda al microonde, una vasta gamma di biscotti secchi e torte
Noi chiaramente scegliamo quelli fritti, che sono fatti al momento in base alla tua scelta
Io inizio con un classico, mozzarella e pomodoro come il calzone che si fa in Salento, poi voglio assaggiarne uno con la ‘nduja, scamorza e pomodoro
Il mio collega va di piccante e di friarielli e salsiccia
Arrivano già tagliati a metà, in Salento ti sparerebbero, ma credo lo facciano per presentarli bene e per farli raffreddare un po’, ci sta, va bene
Al morso noto una strana, ma piacevole croccantezza esterna della pasta lievitata, che aggiunge un po’ di dolcezza all’impasto, ma che non disturba, mi rendo conto subito che sono passati nel pan grattato prima di andare in frittura, devo dire che è stata una piacevole variante ai ns calzoni, che però ha il suo perché, intanto non li trovi dappertutto e se li ami come li amo io, o trovi il pizzaiolo salentino che lavora a Firenze nel mio ristorante del cuore, L’Antica trattoria dell’Oca, che te li fa, altrimenti devi venire in Salento
Facciamo un altro giro per finire la buona birra, io prendo quello con la scarola, molto molto buono ed il mio collega uno super condito
Ci alziamo per pagare e ci domandiamo come chiudere il pranzo, un dolcino secco ai fichi, ci andrebbe, poi la signora ci consiglia dei panzerotti fritti dolci, sapendo di aver già vinto conosce presto la ns risposta, il con la crema, lui con la nutella
Anche questi fritti al momento, zuccherati sulla scorza, peccato x la crema fredda, ma erano notevoli anche in versione dolce
Un ottimo caffè di marca, insolito da trovare in giro, dato il costo, a chiudere il tutto
Credo che ci rivedranno presto

All very good, even the cream zeppole, spectacular. The owner was very kind, we felt a bit at home. He also makes biscuits, the rum ones are delicious. Super recommended

I really wanted to leave a review to compliment the staff on their friendliness and the excellence of the product. Lots of choice between panzerotti and various fried foods at very affordable prices! The classic panzerotto (tomato and mozzarella) cost €3, which for the world we find ourselves in today is truly incredible. Taste a bit of everything (since the prices allow you to taste many things at once), really excellent quality and a modern and clean place. I felt at home. I would add one last thing, they have so many different sweets, even biscuits, so that even if you are stuffed with panzerotti but still want a sweet you can also get a simple biscuit starting from €0.80. I found it very very nice. We'll be back!

From Nene. It is one of those very rare places where the food - original, innovative, reassuring - is further enhanced by the atmosphere in the restaurant. Nene is a certainty!!! The panzerotti are delicious and there is something for all tastes! Possibility to have them also gluten-free!
Antonella is a volcano of kindness, courtesy and novelty... one of my favorite places! If you go there, try the desserts and you won't regret it.
