Our favourite meal in Italy. Fantastic quality food with traditional flavours done with a modern twist. We had the mackerel, tongue and ox heart for entrees, followed by the pork cutlet and ragu pasta for mains. All were absolutely delicious. Standouts were the tongue, ox heart and pork cutlet (incredibly buttery) accompanied by the most amazing potatoes! Highly recommend

A very nice modern place, with nice and kind staff, the food is good.
The kitchen was a little slow, they could improve even if it was full.

We tried several courses, the portions were really big for the lunch menu and unfortunately it was not in our power to eat everything. The price/quality ratio is very good, there is nothing to complain about. The main course was quite spicy, I had pasta that was supposed to be hot - it wasn't hot at all, but it had a strong taste. My friend had the tuna, which was all wrapped in pepper and done very well, but it wasn't bad either. Overall, I definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant, but you probably need to get more information about the food from the staff. The environment inside is beautiful, modern, designer. It would be nice to expand the range of soft drinks with some homemade drinks. But the wine selection is great.

This restaurant is tucked away in Old Milan and does require a little bit of traveling to get to. But it is completely worth it. Both chefs have trained abroad in high-end restaurants and Well-Known chefs (many articles online. Check them out). The training is clearly evident as all of their dishes contain few ingredients but deliver amazing flavor. We ordered a whole bunch of dishes (in retrospect, probably too many but we wanted to try so many) and we're not disappointed by any of them. We ordered the whipped cod with a red pepper sauce and bread. We also got the chicken liver pate served on brioche bread, veal tung tuna sauce, mixed spicy seafood pasta, garlic chive salad with nectarine, and their take on pork cutlet Milan style.
We will be coming back and we are in the city. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

The place was recommended to me for a business dinner.
Now I can strongly advise against it if you want to make a good impression.
Let me start by saying, the food is good, the service is a disaster.
The reservation is given at 9.30pm, because they work in shifts, we are seated 15 minutes later, waiting outside and we are given the menus but not the wine list. After over 20 minutes they take the order. After another 30 minutes the first courses are delivered (it's already 10.30pm), another 45 minutes pass between clearing the table and bringing the other plate (many diners didn't finish their plate because it was really too late). At 11.30pm, the waiters who had already been too slow (the place is not large and there are 4/5 waiters, including a counter for drinks), instead of clearing the table and taking orders for desserts, bitters or coffee, uncorked bottles of wine drinking at the bar (all 4 together, chatting and laughing). I found it to be a truly significant lack of professionalism for a place recommended by several guides.
We have repeatedly pointed out the slowness but there has been no improvement.
A further note is that the waiters do not know how to serve either the wine (white wine left without an ice bucket) or the dishes (they pass them directly to the diner, without placing them on the table)
It's a shame because the food is very good but the service is very far from being up to par (it wouldn't be up to par even for the worst tavern, except that here you pay at least €50 each).
Not recommended if you need to make a good impression on company managers.

Excellent restaurant with a constantly changing menu and excellent wine list. I often come back here to try out-of-the-ordinary dishes and for the refined and informal atmosphere. The service is also excellent.

Oh my goodness this place was amazing and very low key for the quality. We had asparagus with hollandaise and fava beans, my bf had lamb with potatoes and I had seared tuna with aubergine. The potatoes and sauce with the lamb were ridiculously good- the best food I’ve had in Italy so far after visiting Rome, napoli and Florence. The tuna was lovely and the pepper gave a great kick, the aubergine has a nice smoky flavor which was lovely to move back and forth between.
I am floored that I’ve FINALLY had hollandaise in a restaurant that was correct! This has never happened in my life- ever. The service was lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxed. This place is a nice little gem and I’m happy we accidentally found it!

Simply top!
- Simple but very refined menu, generous portions, excellent raw materials and focus on substance, not on transformations and presentations that are too novel cousine. I highly recommend trying the brioche crostini with livers and caramelized onion, absolutely lustful.
- Fairly extensive wine list ranging from emerging producers who make natural wine to more traditional wines, both Italian and international (and with sensible prices, now a rarity in Milan).
- A place with great attention to detail in its design and furnishings in a minimal-modern style. Simple, cheeky mise en place that fits into the context.
- Young and competent staff, both in the dining room and in the kitchen.
- Quality/price ratio among the best seen in Milan.
Well done!!!

In breve: consigliatissimo.
