During our one-day layover in Zurich, my family and I searched online for “interesting restaurants in Zurich for dinner,” and Napoli da Gerardo caught our attention. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. Visually, it was fascinating, with eclectic decor featuring art that adorned every corner of the room - even the ceiling. The atmosphere felt like a blend of an old church and an unconventional art museum. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by Gerardo himself, who greeted us with a complimentary glass of champagne and bruschettas at our table. Since we couldn’t read the Italian/Swiss menu, Gerardo enthusiastically recommended various dishes for us to try. His passion was contagious, so we trusted his suggestions—and we’re so glad we did. The meal was an abundant feast: flavorful pasta, perfectly cooked meats, vibrant vegetables, and a showstopping Branzino sea bass baked in salt. Every bite was scrumptious. The combination of the ambiance, Gerardo’s warm hospitality, and Natalie’s attentive service made for an unforgettable dining experience. It truly felt like enjoying a home-cooked meal with friends, and it was the highlight of our short time in Zurich.

Me and my friends were very lucky to have stumbled across this fine dining italian restaurant so spontaneously. We were also very lucky to have not needed a reservation beforehand, although I do recommend it! The ambient was amazing, I loved every bit of the decorations there. Before we received our menus, we were brought free Prosecco and Bruschetta! Yes, while it did take long to order and receive our food, the live music that was playing still made it really delightful. After dinner, we were brought yet again, for free, a bowl of oranges and peanuts as well as a slice of tiramisu! I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning to get the girls together for a nice fine dining dinner, or a dinner date with someone you want to get to know better. The owner was such a sweetheart and talked to each table personally. 10/10 can definitely recommend.

I went to Ristorante Napoli for the first time today with my girlfriend after I had already heard a lot of positive things about it. The food was great and the ambience was so unique and perfectly imperfect, something very special - you just have to be able to get involved in it. A big thank you to Gerardo, who made us feel like we were very special guests from start to finish. Gladly again at any time!

A special place with a delicious and tasty cuisine that allows you to find yourself in Italy in an instant and enjoy the true Italian cuisine. Not like some places that only have an Italian name. I can recommend the restaurant with my eyes closed. Everything perfect!! Davide and Sylwia from Bern

Nonostante sabato sera e senza prenotazione ci siamo seduti, pizza buona, prezzi in linea. Unica pecca forse la parte della pizza sotto era un po' bruciata..

Una serata di festa (1 novembre) abbiamo organizzato all’ultimo momento una pizza con l’amica Anna! Una pizzeria in centro Mestre, location molto piacevole, colorata e moderna. La pizza, con forno a legna, è buonissima! L’impasto fatto a mano dai pizzaioli ha un sapore delizioso e gli ingredienti, pomodorini, mozzarella e ..sono saporiti e salutari: squisiti!!! La consiglio!
