I am so sad this place is closed. I am traveling to that are area in 2 weeks and was so looking forward to being there. I am American and was introduced to this restaurant and owner by my friend Marco and always loved everything about this place, especially the lasagna (once made for us) and the tortellini. My best to the owner and her family.

Un posto raro, con ottima e squisita cucina, ed ambiente familiare. Da non perdere. gli ottimi i primi, squisita la carne ed il dolce. Un posto che non si dimentica. lo stesso enzo Ferrari la frequentava assidutamente , ed avvertiva sempre , prima di arrivare, aveva il suo posto prediletto- La attuale proprietaria è una persona gentile, affabile, schietta e molto simpatica. Insomma un posto da non perdere assolutamente!!!! paolo maffei

Ristorante Il Calcagnino

29/11/2025: A spectacular location inside Formigine Castle. Excellent service.
27/11/2025: We dined at Calcagno with our family and found the food to be excellent, with attentive and appropriate preparation for our two-year-old, courteous staff, and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. We were also treated to a delicious entrée and a truly superb digestif (a spoonful of sugar)! The price is a bit high, but given the many positives, it's worth it every now and then.
