Had the set lunch for €40. Good deal. Didn't know Italians were into the always underwhelming Russian Salad too, thought that was just a bizarre Spanish obsession. My bouche was not amused. Ravioli was excellent. Vitello tonnato remains another strange dish that I'm not really into. Beef tartare needed seasoning. Pork cheek beautifully cooked. Pannacotta very good.

10/08/2026: Every time I return to La Piccarda, I confirm my previous opinion and am completely satisfied. The food is excellent, presented in a unique and impressive way. The atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant in every room, from the large window overlooking Monviso to the more intimate dining room and even the garden. The staff is truly attentive, kind, and extremely helpful. In short, what can I say? See you next time, I can't wait to come back!

13/08/2026: Renato Bar, a must-visit for anyone visiting the Mondello square, is the bar I've frequented since I was a child with my father. We had breakfast here, with a croissant, coffee, granita, and Sicilian brioche. Everything was really good. We paid around 10 euros.
