The restaurant is strategically located in the city center. The atmosphere is refined and well-kept, and the history of the place is palpable. The dishes are well-presented and good, but nothing exceptional. Prices are not cheap.

Kindness and professionalism, excellent value, a welcoming atmosphere, Marta is exceptionally friendly! We were very satisfied with our truffle lunch. I highly recommend it for couples or families.

The menu was just right and perfectly suited to this early November season. On this white truffle festival weekend, it would have been impolite not to enjoy them, whether with a beef carpaccio or some ravioli. The wine list was extensive and catered for all budgets. The service was a notch below what I had experienced in May of this year. The food, the wine, and the atmosphere more than made up for it. Note that you dine in the cellar...claustrophobes beware. Best wishes.

Once you descend the stairs into the restaurant, you find yourself in a spacious, red-brick basement. The service is attentive, and the food is simply delicious. A gem in the heart of Alba.

20/12/2025: I was looking for a place halfway between Liguria and Piedmont to celebrate my birthday. Reading the reviews, we stumbled upon this place. We were very satisfied. Five appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert. Everything was high-quality and with a very homely touch.
