We wanted to experience this culinary experience away from the crowds on the beach. We ordered the pasta with porcini mushrooms and the pasta with truffles: both dishes were wonderful! Thank you for this discovery in the heart of Taormina! The welcome was warm and friendly. We highly recommend it.

I just had a fantastic cooking class at the Museo della Pasta in Taormina, Sicily! It was a blast, and the food was absolutely delicious. We learned to make caponata, fresh pasta, swordfish, cannolis, and so much more. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend it!

We had dinner here and enjoyed the best caponata in Sicily, but the pasta was not so great for the most expensive portion that we tried on the island.

Walking through the streets of Taormina, I notice a 1500s facade with warm lights on top, a terrace that immediately makes me want to go up there. So I take a photo. (I attach here) We enter the door of the "pasta museum" and I see a staircase with a pleasant artistic expression that I will not spoil for you. (Go in person, better to see it and experience it.) After walking up the staircase to the first floor, there is a very beautiful kitchen with a large worktop. On this floor we also find the smile of a woman who welcomes us and accompanies us to the desired table, up on the terrace, which fortunately we find available. Everything is very well-kept, the structure, furnishings, lights, And the pasta is the undisputed protagonist. So we open the menu (well organized with images, it is very well done) we choose two first courses, the chosen dish is: “Linguine with Red Tuna, mint and chili pepper” (I attach a photo of the dish and wine) We are Sicilians and our expectations are not high, we are in Taormina and having heard Maya’s Russian accent, we have the feeling that the place is very touristy, so without great expectations we communicate our choice and Maya who adds: “excellent choice, for the evening it is a good and light dish”! She seems sure of herself! What shall we drink? We don't want to take a bottle of wine, but she has passion and knowledge of the subject of wine, so we start to trust her and she pours us two glasses of: "Caruso & Minini Frappello di Terre Siciliane IGP" (made from Frappato and Nerello Mascalese grapes, grown in the Trapani area, in Marsala.) The dish arrives (I attach a photo) The pasta is cooked perfectly to perfection, the flavors of the red tuna and the red datterino together are extraordinary, and of excellent quality, the mint gives freshness and the chili pepper is dosed perfectly. A mouth-watering dish and not only. You won, Maya. Congratulations for the idea, the experience offered, the kind and empathetic ways, and the love for pasta. So my advice is: If you find yourself in Taormina, a stop at the "Museo della Pasta" is a must.

Wij konden zonder reservering terecht omdat we vroeg waren, maar tip 1: reserveer op tijd! We hebben fantastisch gegeten. We startten met de vegetarische bruschetta, een proeverij van vier verschillende 'taartjes' van groenten en smaakrijke mousse, aanrader! Daarna koos de ene de 'pink lady risotto' met een zachte hint van gorgonzola, uitstekend bereid!, en de ander een pasta, ook uitstekend van smaak en textuur. Een glas prima witte Grillo erbij, die met elke slok nog beter smaakte. Als dessert de beste tiramisu die wij de afgelopen twee weken op Sicilië hebben geproefd - zacht als een wolkje, goede likeur erin - en een caffè americano, ook weer perfect. De sfeer is informeel, de muziek zacht en authentiek, en de dame die ons hielp, was vriendelijk, oplettend en had verstand van zaken. Toen wij vetrokken, stond er een rij aspirant-gasten te wachten en wij hopen voor hen dat het lukt een tafeltje te bemachtigen in dit voortreffelijke restaurant! De prijzen zijn normaal voor Taormina en wij vonden de verhouding prijs - kwaliteit zeer goed.

El edificio y el interior es muy agradable. El servicio fue así, ya que a pesar del hecho de que pedimos solo 2 comidas, todavía tuvieron éxito para traer una cosa que no habíamos pedido en lugar de lo que habíamos pedido! la comida era muy buena, pero no excepcional, así que la experiencia en general es también igood, pero no súper genial...
