MU Dimsum In Milano

Most beautiful Asian restaurant I have ever been to, elegant, sophisticated and even fresh flowers on the table. Service was very friendly, warm and attentive. We got amuse bouche and friandise served in addition. but unfortunately, there is a BUT: food ranged from very yummie to very tasteless.. 1) dumplings: some were only lukewarm! dumplings should always be steamingly hot, when arriving at the table and the lids should be opened only there, the meat dumplimgs had very floury not meaty texture… as if meat was stretched with bread or flour 2) Peking duck, chewy with a lot of fat, that tasted rancid - clearly second level duck 3) Tagliatelle di Manzo was the best Horw Fun tasted in years with best Wok Hei! but 16€ for a tiny portion (smaller than a usual steamed rice bowl), i would have rather paid more, but also getting a normal sized portion like all other dishes 4) Chrochette Shrimps was great Worth mentioning: clean Stokke high chair! clean Stokke changing table (but this should be accessible to all parents and not be in the ladies room - that’s very old fashioned thinking) nice, clean toilets, beautiful dishes and good wine list. all in all: we did not mind paying that much for such a nice restaurant, the service and the experience we had, but would not come back for the food.

Excellent experience and impeccable staff. The food is of high quality, but what really impressed is the service and attention they offer to customers, always attentive and respectful. Very welcoming environment and you can see that they have a level of service at another level, in the bathroom there is also a hand cream, which surprised me.

We're not there! Beautiful location that leaves you with very very high expectations, excellent reviews but I can't help but disagree, xiao long bao ravioli too fat, kuo tie that tasted only of ginger, a positive note for the really delicious Peking duck but for the everything else is lower than the average of many other restaurants that are at the same level. Despite the disappointment about the well-specified dishes, left whole and uneaten, not even a small discount was applied to the bill, from a place of a certain level one expects different attention to the customer. €189 bill for two people, specific with a cost of €60 for the wine... I have to say excellent but then again they don't make it!

I think I am going to write off this place for a while. The new chef is not there for top Chinese food. Some of the classic dishes are still ok such as Peking duck, shrimp dumplings. But some of the dishes, the vegi, black cod, mapo tofu, they are less than mediocre. For the price, you can get a better version in any respectable Chinese restaurant in Milano with more authenticity. I have to say I am very disappointed. Below was my review from 1 year ago. I still come to this place for meal every time I visit Milan. But somehow the food is not the same as when chef Kin Cheung was here. First the temperature is not right. Every Chinese dish should be steaming hot, most dishes were just lukewarm. I can’t exactly pin point the rest, somehow it is just not the same. 4.5 stars for the food and 5 stars for interior decor. Below was my review from 4 years ago. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Finally a great design restaurant ( Armani chic) with divine food (authentic) opened in Milano. I finally don’t have to fly back to HK to get great dimsum. Thanks to its star chef Kin Cheung.

I have only seen such a selection of dim sum in Asia. We really enjoyed both the quality of the food and the service. We will be back again with great pleasure.

Ristorante promosso a pieni voti, ci siamo trovati benissimo sotto ogni aspetto. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione con abbinamento vini: è stata una scelta vincente che ci ha soddisfatto in pieno. I piatti sono particolari, buoni e ben presentati, i vini si sono abbinati alla perfezione esaltando il gusto delle pietanze. Il servizio ottimo, cordiale e preciso. La location è spaziosa ed elegante. Il prezzo è in linea con quanto descritto, non è certo il classico ristorante cinese economico. Vale quanto speso. Complimenti!

Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante molto chic per cena. Il menù è ricco di proposte anche interessanti sicuranente non convenzionali. Peccato che le pirtate siano veramente scarse e dopo un antipasto e un primo hai l'esigenza di andarti a mangiare una pizza perché, complici i lunghi tempi di attesa tra una portata e l altra , hai ancora fame). 140 euro per 4 portate di dimsum (17 pezzi in tutto), 2 antipasti (di cui un bao), 2 piatti di riso, 2 dolci e bottiglie di acqua mi sembrano veramente tanti troppi soldi. Inoltre troppa attesa per il dolce.
