Mr Clood In Roma

All delicious! Heavenly sea bass tartare, the best I've ever eaten, truly delicious tagliolini with clams. We also had a meat first course, pappardelle with oxtail sauce, really delicious. The owner is a pleasant and kind person; Unfortunately, we did not meet Mr Clood, about whom we have heard wonderful anecdotes that force us to return to this bistro. Small bistro in the heart of Trastevere, where you can enjoy Italian bistro cuisine that is a change from traditional trattorias. Excellent wines. Cozy restaurant. Inventive, tasty and full of flavor cuisine.

We stumbled upon this quaint little shop and 6 of us stopped in for lunch. The house wine paired perfectly with our pastas. We ordered 5 dishes for the six of us, which was plenty! Lasagna, Sardinian culugiones, pappardelle, and bacon & egg x2. Everyone shared and everyone had a different favorite. Very attentive service. Very cute, quaint bistro. Recommend highly!

Go there to try things with sauce: oxtail, fettuccine, sausage and ragù, rigatoni with sauce... They are all excellent. However, the slightly more commercial dishes (gricia, cacio e pepe...) were of average quality. Overall a nice place. The waitress is nice

We stopped in Mr.Clood based on its stellar reviews on our last night in Rome. Initially, we were concerned due to being the only table, however prior reviews had mentioned this as well. We wanted carbonara, which wasn’t on the menu at the time, and the friendly waiter said they would make it for us. I cannot even describe how divine this was. Crispy bacon, the perfect al dente fresh spaghetti, and seasoned to perfection. Our group also got the pumpkin ravioli, lasagna, and rosemary foccia which were phenomenal as well. The staff was beyond lovely, spoke great English, and were so friendly (and funny) to boot. Do yourself a favor and dine at this gem stat!

Warm place, polite and fast service, but above all amazing food! We tried focaccia with rosemary, shrimp with mozzarella, gnocchi with seafood, ravioli with ricotta and spinach and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend it!
